Oh, you're right. I guess it's okay to make fun of her begging for her life then.

For Wichita: www.consortiumnews.com/2000/101500a.html

Before anyone comments on the conversation, I would suggest that they actually read the link. It may help to clarify its relationship to the topic and keep the discussion on topic.

And yes, that's my administrative opinion. ;)

The Sisko, I edited your post to make an actual link. In future just click the http:// button and copy the link into the window that pops up. Then you can type in the name of the article on the second window that pops up.

Thanks Minuet!! This whole time I have been posting, I never knew how to make a "clickable" link. But then again, I never asked.

I read the article. My response: SO what! This is not news. You lefties tried to make a big deal of this back during the 2000 elections. Also, do you folks ever visit NEWS sites? What next? Posts from CPUSA.com?

Lastly, and once again, CAN WE STAY ON TOPIC?

The impression I get is Bush can be a very engaging man. Democrat, Independent or Republican can fall prey to his Texan charm.

^^ Yeah, it was especially heart warming to hear him mock that woman he was going to execute begging him for her life. What a sweet guy.

Oh, yeah, for those who demand documentation:

Mocks Tucker's plea for clemency to conservative newspaper writer Tucker Carlson who reports it. Bush, Carlson wrote, ridiculed the inmate by affecting a whimpering woman: "Please, don't kill me." (Washington Post, 7/6/00)

Now that's compassionate conservatism for you!

It isn't the Texan charm, he wasn't even born in Texas. So how can someone from Connecticut have Texan charm? to me he has a more New York/Connecticut addituted. People get this impression that all Texans are all cowboys, like people think that people that leave in New York all have guns and pointed at you if you look at them the wrong way. Its called sterio typical.
