Could someone recommend a book with facts on the Star Trek Universe? Maybe an encyclopedia? |

^^^ Fire, I use The Star Trek Encyclopedia (by Okuda and Okuda). It's a wonderful reference work, with a tremendous amount of information, and includes many, many color and b&w pics.

The various Companions and Compendiums for each series are good too. |

^^^ You're welcome. I own the Encyclopedia, as well as the original series Compendium and the Companions to TNG, DS9, and VOY. I am anxiously awaiting the next edition of the Okuda work.
