A Robot in Disguise

Back in february, our local Channel 9 network pulled the plug on Smallville at ep 13 in Season 2 with like a weeks warning, claiming it wasnt rating enough, even though it was rating just under a million(which is ok for here), and they replaced it with the Saturday night movie that is now rating less than that.

Thanks to a friend that has broadband an a still valid account with Kazaa, I got eps 14 to 18 Yesterday which included 'Rosetta' with Christopher Reeve'.

Yes the first season and a half of this show got a bit silly at times, it seemed every imaginable mutant in Smallville crawled out of the woodwork, but the last half of season 2 is turning out to be something extraordinary, especially Rosetta, that was a damn good ep.

I found myself getting excited when I got the CDR's, jumping up and down when watching the eps, pumping my fist in the air, and a shiver when we hear the original superman theme for the first time in Rosetta, I am itching for eps 19-23 which I get soon, stuff about John Kent getting temporary powers - cant wait.

Anyone else love this series, I havent been this excited about a TV show since Voyager.

Note: ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THE SHOW PAST EP 18 SEASON 2 MUST BE CONTAINED IN A SPOILER TAG.

I enjoy it. It's great to see a prequel series that doesn't throw continuity out the window.
(hmmm wonder what continuity throwing show I'm talking about?)
