West indian great Brian Lara has set the all time highest test cricket score of 400 not out. For those that dont know this is huge, 2 days spent at the crease ( batting) under extreme pressure and concentration, for an analogy its like facing 500 pitches in a row. Story from the Pakistani tribune

Congratulations to him. Its been a difficult test series and as much as I hate to see England loosing I'm almost glad that the W/Indies have something to cheer about at last. It doesnt really matter if we loose this match, but it does matter to them to win. The latest score was something like W/Indies 715-5 dec. England 175-5 so we are on the ropes to be honest. Still its a major achievement, when a guy go 200 last summer they said that was a major achievement so this is double that. Often whole teams get out for less than 400. |

Heaps of them at my university , talk about dark - they are that . Must be a couple of hundred of them - mostly full fee paying imports. But we also have some pure blood aborigines who make brothers look light skinned. |

I just came back to this thread , forgotten where I put it. Spongebath: WHAT THE HELL was the purpose of that reply? maybe you forgot the buffer, but it didnt come off sounding too nice. full fee paying imports?!?! - students that help the University reframe from increasing your fees. "But we also have some pure blood aborigines who make brothers look light skinned." - well thats a generalisation if I ever heard one. another symptom of your V VCJD, Foot IN mouth disease. |
