This may sound strange to most but I'm looking for an easy way out. I haven't seen Enterprise for 2 years now (long story) and am totally lost watching Enterprise right now. When I left the country we were all discussing on the message boards who was going to be who's love interest etc. etc. So who finally confessed their love to T'Pol? Can it be done or did I miss much at all? I'll be eternally grateful to those who try.

In a nutshell: Season two- Enterprise explores space while Archer gets beaten up. Season three- Earth is attacked by mysterious aliens. Archer gets beaten up while searching for them. I'll leave it to someone else to try to explain T'Pol. |

Intrepid Season Two - as far as I recall - involved more aimless wandering around the unverse. Archer did get beat up fairly regularly, but the Andorian episode was good. Hoshi and Travis started fading into the woodwork until they virtually disappeared in Season Three. Other than the Andorians, it wasn't very memorable. During the last episode of Season Two, Earth is attacked by an unknown alien and seven million people are killed. Among them is Trip's sister who we have never seen or heard of before. The Enterprise is recalled to Earth as a result. On the way home, the Future Guy returns to tell Archer that the Xindi are responsible. Archer convinces those in charge to allow him to take Earth's only Warp 5 vessel into a place called the Expanse to search out the Xindi before they can finish Earth off - since the first weapon is just a test. The Expanse apparently causes Vulcans to go mad - or turn into Zombies (You HAVE to see that episode!) and Klingons to be turned inside out while still alive. The Vulcan High Command refuses to let T'Pol go so she resigns her commission and goes anyway. With the Enterprise this season is a team of commandos who are supposed to help destroy the weapon. They are so memorable that, in the opening episode, Hoshi introduces herself to them - in the seven+ weeks since they left Earth, they apparently haven't run into each other on a ship with 85 crewmembers. Malcolm resents their presence. Trip, meanwhile, can't sleep due to the loss of his sister. Phlox (who has apparently been reading too many romance novels) decides the only way to help him is have T'Pol practice Vulcan massage techniques on him. She complains about the request and, one would assume, that even without rank she would have enough to do as First officer, but ulrtimately agrees. She then proceeds to remove her top and clutch her boobs during the first session. Some might say that that was the sanest thing she did all season. I don't know if Trip confessed his love to T'Pol, but they supposedly had sex in one episode. (Trip was talking with one of the female commandos, T'Pol didn't like it, yadda yadda yadda.) Apparently, whatever causes the Expanse to do what it does to people can be prevented. The problem is that the substance they need to coat the ship with will also cause problems for T'pol. (See aftforementioned "zombie", "sanest" comments.) Then there is the Xindi who are actually five species: human, reptile, insect, aquatic, and furry something. They supposedly want to destroy Earth because, in 400 years, Earth will destroy their home planet. Problem is that we learn in the 3rd or 4th episode that their homeworld was already destroyed 150 years ago. Malcolm has had a fight with the head of the commandos, Trip is still getting twice weekly massage sessions from the first officer, Phlox is way too interested in THAT relationship, T'Pol is disintigrating in front of evreyone, and Hoshi and Travis quite possibly don't have 20 lines between them all season. And Archer is still getting beat up - when he isn't beating someone else up. |

COPY PASTE PRINT. That recap was great! Thank you all esp Wichita for the recap. The past two years have not been kind to Archer. He's aged 10 fold in appearance. I'm glad to see T'Pol has a wardrobe and I'm sorry to see Hoshi fade into the woodwork. Trip is still a trip. Maybe I can catch season 3 in reruns this summer. If rumors are true, there's still a part of me that hates to see the series go. |

Another episode you have to be sure to catch: the Wild West planet. Not much of a plot, but Archer in a cowboy hat and long coat. |

I'm sorry dear. I have an ever so slight aversion to cowboy hats. I once met a cowboy who said, "the bigger the hat, the bigger the (edit) ....oops" Does that quantify a FCC slap? I do like the long leather coats ala Nicholas Cage in Face Off I can't wait to see that episode. I hope T'Pol wasn't wearing any cowboy outfits and using a hat to cover her pointed ears. |

I belive she did the "school marm" with a bandanna thing ... It was an Archer episode so she wasn't in it much.... or at least not that I noticed.

<sigh> Every now and then, Wichita reverts back to Buckeyrose.... Intrepid, BTW, the episode Rose was alluding to is North Star. It has quite a dark feel to it, as Westerns go.... |

Dont listen to them Intrepid, Enterprise isnt all that bad. I havent seen season 3 yet ( I get the first 10 eps in a week or so) but as for season 2 Carbon Creek, Dead stop, A night in Sickbay, The Seventh, Vanishing point, cease Fire, Future Tense, The Crossing, Judgement, Cogenitor, Regeneration and The Expanse are all fine episodes. Yes there are holes in the plot lines, but you can find holes in every series. Enterprise is still watchable for the most part. And if you really are honest with yourself and compare the first three seasons of ENT with the first Three seasons of DS9, ENT is superior, I just hope ENT gets a similar character and story injection as DS9 did in season 4. After saying that , avoid The Marauders and Dawn as if your life depended on it, I think they are the worst trek eps to date. Pay attention to The Expanse - you get to see Captain Gonzales commanding a ship called the 'Intrepid' |

^^^ Agreed, there are some good points to ENT as well. BTW, I liked Marauders more than you, so there.
