Yes , i think I've seen all bond movies.

Favourite Movie: Live and let die - I think it had everthing, closely followed by Goldfinger - I love the very retro look it had and the gadget filled Austin martyn.Golden eye was also very entertaining.

Favourite Bond: Roger Moore by far, he had the best / funniest one liners and always did it tongue in cheek. Back then Connery was just to damn goodlooking to be taken seriously.

Favourite Bond Girl: Jane Seymour - she was just absolutely stunning, and she played a character that was very innocent , adding to her charm, plus she was one of the few girls that actually was given a role that gave her a chance to act, instead of flashing their chests.

Favourite Bond Girl Name: Pussy Galore - wth? - I think that was Goldfinger?, first time I heard that i said wtf? , how did that get past the censors in the 60's.

Favourite stunt: Definately the car jump and role in The Man with The Golden Gun - one of the best stunts in film history, followed by the Motorcycle jump and one hand ride in Tommorrow never dies. I liked the intro surf scene in Die another Day but that was CGI.

Favourite Villian - Probably Robert Shaw in From Russia with Love, I am a big robert shaw fan - gives great face ( see: Taking of Pelham one, two, three).
Followed by the creepy quasi gay guys in Diamonds are forever - they were creepy.

Favourite Gadget - The Xray glasses in The world is not enough.

Favourite Song - Goldfinger, everytime I see that movie I do the Shirley Bassey impersionation.

Actaully in the paper yesterday the producers hinted that Brosnans replacement will be Australian, whether that means Hugh Jackman or not who knows, this article hinted at Heath Ledger of all people , but I think that may be a mistake.

Jackman's name is another that has been brought up. Better choice than Colin Farrel, IMO.

Who is your favorite Bond villian?
I thought Christopher Walken in A View to a Kill was an excellent villain.
.....................

Anything else?
I believe the Bond film that comes out next year will be Brosnan’s last. I don’t know who could possible fill the shoes of Bond now…and actually make the role believable.

I mean the role has to go to someone who is English, Irish or Scottish. Then the person must ooooooze confidenece, intelligence, sex appeal, and be debonair. He must also be able to jump out of cars going 60 MPH, and wield a gun like nobody’s business. It is a difficult combination to find in an actor. :)

I actually saw Pulp fiction and The Deer Hunter before A View to a kill, so when watching it I had images of "....this uncomfortably chunk of metal up my..." and the guy that beat a 1 in six chance of losing at russian roulette a ridiculous amount of times.

So it may have spoilt it a bit for me , but it was a good movie, Duran Durans theme song was inspiring and whats her name was very athletic.

As for the next Bond, I think after seeing Jude Law in A.I. he would fit the mould best, Hugh Jackman would play it too camp, and thank god Christian Bale is out ( the next Batman) he would have been another Dalton. There was a welsh guy also in the running but I cant remember his name at the moment.

Second, one name I've read several times for the next possible Bond has been Colin Farrel. I just don't quite see it though...

I don't see it either.

Maybe Jason Issacs? He's got that Bond look!

The name sounds familar, but I am not sure who he is...I'll have to see about finding a picture of him on the Internet.

Nope, he isn't the right guy for the part either IMO.

He is the only one mentioned so far that kind of has a spy quality...but Bond? I don't think so. Bond is a special character, and it is going to be extremely difficult to find an actor who can fill the role. Someone, who exhibits all of the traits I mentioned in my other reply, who isn't totally identified as some other character he has played in the past and someone who is the right age. I don't think any of the actors (possible contenders) mentioned thus far are capable of being Bond. I just hope the movie studio doesn't go with anyone (someone lacking the qualifications), just to put out another Bond film.

You know the bad guy in "The Patriot."

He reminds me of Timothy Dalton. This guy could have done Prince Baron in Flash Gordon as well.

yeah, I remember him he was Clark Devlin in Jackie Chan's The Tuxedo, so if you need to see a preview of him as Bond watch that movie. So now that you mention it he's probably my first choice now as he did that part rather well, was quite debonair.

He was also in Black Hawk down, and his character in Armaggedon was described as the smartest man on the planet.

Also, I dont think Timothy Dalton was that bad, I really liked The Living Daylight , reminded me a bit of World is not enough - where Bond is shown being (somewhat) monogomous and falls in love. I think he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time , in that movie the producers wanted to show Bond more as a SNAG, but the public didnt like it.

He was a bit dull in License to Kill however, some avoid it cos it has Dalton in it, but the Tanker chase at the end is also one of the Best ever Stunt scenes.

i liked Dalton as Bond, too. It was only the later Moore movies that became painful to watch.

Also, upon some consideration I've decided that my Favorite Gadget was Little Nellie and my Favorite Bond girl was Barbara Bach.

In my opinion, Timothy Dalton was the best Bond after Sean Connery. That's why I think Jason Issacs can fill the bill.

Oh him. He was great in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. He also has a certain Bond quality/look to him…but he isn’t handsome enough I don’t think. I am actually watching The Patriot right now. Tavington (Isaacs) just killed one of Benjamin's (Gibson) kids. :( I definitely think he is better suited for bad guy roles. He has this certain evil glint in his eye.

As a side note, a large portion of the movie The Patriot was filmed in the next county over from where I live here in SC. There were Mel Gibson sightings all over the place when he was living/working on the movie. Too bad I didn’t get to see him. :(

Isaacs reminds me of Dalton some too. I never really had a problem with Dalton. I think I liked The Living Daylights a bit more than License to Kill though.

Don't make me use my bare hands on you.
I've already said that my favorite Bond girl was either Agent Triple-X (Barbara Bach) or Dr Christmas Jones (Denise Richards).

But, my favorite Bond girl character name.... there are so many from which to choose. Dr. Goodhead (Moonraker), Pussy Galore (Goldfinger), Octopussy (Octopussy), Chew Me (You Only Live Twice), any that I missed.

I don't think that I can answer this question with out offending some people.

After some thought, I think the original Aston Martin (the DB5 used in Goldfinger, 1964) is my favorite gadget. I liked the car as well in Die Another Day, but the original was so cool. :)

My youngest son is an absolute Bond fan. He has a little model of the Aston Martin DB 5, as well as the big book of cinema posters and a pile of videos and DVDs.
His favourite is Sean Connery with Pierce Brosnan a close second. The original theme is the one he likes best. You Only Live Twice is one of his favourite Bond films. He hasn't mentioned who his favourite bond girl is, yet. ;) He tells me loves the gadjets, especially "Little Nell".
