Don't make me use my bare hands on you.

James Bond movies are known for their action stunts scenes, suggestively named beautiful women, spy gadgets, super-evil villains, opening music and title, on-location filming and product placement. I have to admit that I love James Bond movies. I didn't see the latest one though. So, I was wanting to know from all of you (who like Bond movies): What is your favorite Bond? Mine would be Roger Moore. What is your favorite Bond film? Mine would probably be For Your Eyes Only What is your favorite opening song from a Bond movie? Mine would be You Only Live Twice performed by Nancy Sinatra. I just love the sound. Who is your favorite Bond villian? Goldfinger, I guess. Favorite stunt? The rolling car jump over the river in The Man With The Golden Gun perhaps. I kind of like the parachuteless jump out of an airplane to catch the guy with the parachute and take it from him in The Spy Who Loved Me (Edit: I originally put Octopussy, but now that I think about it, it may have been TSWLM or Moonraker with one of my favorite characters, Jaws. Jaws then lands on a circus tent afterwards.) Your favorite Bond girl? It's so hard to choose. Denise Richards as Christmass something in The World is not Enough. Barbara Bach in The Spy Who Loved Me, perhaps. Anything else? |

Maybe I forgot favorite gadget. I liked 'Little Nelie' in You Only Live Twice, and then there are always the many remarkable things that his watch can do. |

No I never watched Bond I think it was a rather dull film too predictable. I saw like ten minutes of it and was not impressed. Sorry. |

I have enjoyed watching Bond movies since I was a kid. Favorite Bond: Sean Connery Favorite Film: Live and Let Die (True it's Moore's first outing), I loved the 3 old blind guys, the funeral procession sequence where someone gets whacked in the crowd. Favorite Bond Song: The Bond theme. Villain: Blofeldt. Stunt: Several would qualify. One was fairly low tech, but hanging off the side of the casino (in Thunderball I think, maybe it was Diamonds Are Forever) over the Vegas strip Favorite Bond Girl: Jane Seymour as Tarot in Live and Let Die (She's just sitting there dealing out the cards) Gadget: Too many to count... 38957: The latest one was very good. Tavener (if that is your real name
): They are not meant to be complicated films.

Forgot to say its over rated..... I just thought the film lacked a bit of a back story. In every film its the same story line. Thats just my opinion. No Tavener is not my real name unless your real name is Swidden?

Favorite Bond song- You Only Live Twice Favorite villain- Goldfinger It's too hard to pick my favorite stunt, gadget and Bond girl. There are too many good ones to choose from. |

I love James Bond movies. I have watched the movies since as far back as I can remember. What is your favorite Bond? Definitely Roger Moore. Then Connery, Brosnan and Dalton (he was so so). Lazenby…well lets not even go there. What is your favorite Bond film? I think Octopussy is probably my favorite film. Then A View to a Kill, You Only Live Twice and Tommorow Never Dies. My favorites kind of change over the years (just like Trek films). What is your favorite opening song from a Bond movie? Probably For Your Eyes Only (Sheena Easton). I love the Bond theme song too. Who is your favorite Bond villian? I thought Christopher Walken in A View to a Kill was an excellent villain. Favorite stunt? I really don’t have a favorite stunt. I like the action/stunts in all of the Bond films. Your favorite Bond girl? I don’t really have a favorite Bond girl, but I will say unabashedly that Pierce Brosnan is one of the hottest men in film. You know that scene in Die Another Day when he is at the hotel in Hong Kong (he had just gotten cleaned up and he was in a suit and was shaving)? That was one sexy Bond moment. Sorry, I didn’t mean to turn this into a girly thread. Anything else? I believe the Bond film that comes out next year will be Brosnan’s last. I don’t know who could possible fill the shoes of Bond now…and actually make the role believable. I mean the role has to go to someone who is English, Irish or Scottish. Then the person must ooooooze confidenece, intelligence, sex appeal, and be debonair. He must also be able to jump out of cars going 60 MPH, and wield a gun like nobody’s business. It is a difficult combination to find in an actor.

First, I guess we have to figure that the various Bonds were also picked for their appeal physically as much as the Bond girls were picked for that reason. Second, one name I've read several times for the next possible Bond has been Colin Farrel. I just don't quite see it though... |

I actually prefer the books (the original Fleming as well as the Amis and Gardner ones) over the movies... In actuality, the much maligned George Lazenby actually looks the most like Bond as described by Fleming, though long standing rumor was that Roger Moore was Fleming's personal choice to play Bond when the movies began. Anyway... Favorite Bond: Sean Connery. Favorite movie: Goldfinger Theme: "Live and Let Die" Villain: Auric Goldfinger, Rosa Klebb Gadget: Oddjob's Hat Stunt: The dive off of the cliff at the opening of "The Spy Who Loved Me" Bond Girl: Honeychile Rider, Anya Amasova

In a documentary about The Prisoner it was said that Patrick McGoohan was offered the role. He turned it down but suggested the producers talk to Sean Connery |

^^^ The Prisoner--now there's a *very* imaginative series. And McGoohan--perhaps the only actor ever to be allowed to help Peter Falk with scripts in Columbo--was an excellent choice for the role in that t.v. series. Back to the question at hand: What is your favorite Bond? Sean Connery. What is your favorite Bond film? Either Goldfinger, From Russia With Love, or Die Another Day. What is your favorite opening song from a Bond movie? The theme from Goldfinger. Who is your favorite Bond villian? Dr. No. Favorite stunt? Too many to name. Your favorite Bond girl? Britt Ekland and Jane Seymour.
