I don't agree that it is a bad sign. It does show that the insurgents are anxious to gain a foot hold but the majority of Iraqis are not really looking for the Taliban: The Next Generation. This activity does not necessarily equate with their winning the "war of 'hearts and minds'". This all still comes dow to whether or not we have the stomach for a long haul. Remember our ultimate goal is to establish a functional democracy in Iraq and hope that it spreads to other parts of the Middle East.
