[Okay, I tried to find the threads that congratulated Minuet and Swidden when they became Captain, to no avail. So, I created another one. :)]

Captain Minuet and Captain Swidden,

Congratulations for passing 2,000 posts! :)

How about a Voyager Movie
 Take out the Sistertrek I.V. and go outside once and a while!
By the way why don't you (Witchita?) add an Admiral rank. It is easy enough. Or Dan? How about higher rankings? :ermm:

There are higher rankings JS. I dug up this old post.

Thanks Fesarius.

I knew I was close, but was not paying attention when I actually passed the mark. Too busy trying to cook a large meal and argue with someone on the political boards at the same time!

The Ranking System

Symbol Name count

(my ancestor did rather well in th RN didn't he ?)

Shouldn't Fleet Admiral actually be Admiral of the Fleet or Grand Admiral ?

Wouldn't thick gold bars be better for these illustrious labels ?

anyone who gets to these any time soon are pretty sad and needs to seriously reflect on their (lack of) social life , actual human contact and exercise I would think.

Well, I'm very happy, frequently reflect on my faith, and run fifty miles a week. (I have completed six marathons--now training for those takes a lot of time!) Although I could conceivably arrive at that milestone one day, I'd say that my time posting here is very well spent. :)

:offtopic: Wow Fesarius! Six marathons! I'm envious. I used to run quite a bit. The longest I ever ran was 17 1/2 miles. I was pretty close to being able to run a marathon. But then I went into my first semester freshman finals in college followed by my first month long vacation in the Massachusetts winter. For some reason I stopped running and didn't go back for years. When I did go back, I got myself up to running 10K races (13 years later), but then I developed a foot injury. I had no medical insurance at the time so I had to stop running. Last year (9 years later) I had knee surgery - no doubt largely due to all the running I used to do - so it makes me wonder if I should ever return to running. Lately though, I've really been wishing I had run a marathon. Who knows, I still might some day.

IE,

Wow--coincidentally, I've done most of my serious training in Massachusetts. I was born and raised in that State. So naturally, the Boston Marathon is my favorite one of all! ;)
