Yet another "unconfirmed" report that there may be no fourth season for Enterprise:

More rumor and speculation...I bet this "TrekSpy" throws a bogus story in every now and then just to see how far it goes...

Then again sometimes where there is smoke there is fire, and the show has been anything but a ratings bonanza.

Cancellation is definitely a strong possibility.

For someone who has to swear in the article, its just a bunch of backround noise. I do think/wish ENT was cancelled, but I don't take anything this guy has to say.

I was just skimming through TrekWeb... looks like the final episode of the season couple easily be the final episode of the series. Most everything would be wrapped up.

The last thing I've heard is that it is not announced until very nearly the end of this season whether or not a show comes back next season. And that's supposedly the norm for most all shows.

Time will tell, but the ratings haven't been so great. Too many repeats are breaking up the story arc, and that makes it harder to stay interested in the arc. By the time we get around to new epoisodes again, I'll have forgotten what happened in Azati Prime.

Why ever wish for a cancelled trek? It will grow better.

Because all good things must come to an end and I think Enterprise is pretty mediocure at best and Star Trek has to end sometime. :)

Not quite true. Sometimes you can tell by reports of cotract negotiations between the production studio and the shows actors. Then you have shows like freinds which had..what... four final seasons?

You can say that again. I wouldn't be surprised if the ratings dipped down to 1/3 of what they normally are during this unusually longggg hiatus. :ermm: In addition, the hiatus can't have a positive effect considering how abysmal the ratings usually are; and how much this season’s ratings are factoring into whether or not the series is going to be cancelled.

The show sucks and deserves to die, but I think Paramount will push UPN for a 4th season of 22 epiosdes in order to get to 100, the majic number for synidication deals and kill it next year.

I'm so happy, thanks to Kazaa and a mate with Broadband, I will finally get to see season 3 in a weeks time.

Admiral,

Wrapping things up is a good thing, IMO. This way, they can go on (with something completely new), and if not, all will be closed. Either way I do want the Xindi storyline to conclude, and perhaps this pressure will force them to do it sooner. We'll see.

I'd only want Ent to go away if it were replaced by a better series, but if there is no trek alltogether, what are we left to watch?
