Something Wicked This Fae Comes
Here is the latest on what is causing T'Pol's behavior. The link is to a thread over at TrekBBS. "Apparently" in the latest Communicator, Berman reveals why T'Pol has been behaving so emotional. I am treating this as rumor until more people are able to substantiate the Berman interview (and the T'Pol revelation) in the Communicator. Also, in this edition, it is suppose to show the Season Finale as Zero Hour.

Zero Hour Spoiler?

Although I have seen most episodes, the long gap between the continuation of certain plot points has actually gotten me confused this season. If the rumor is true, I can't imagine how it could come about.

I just read the spoiler... PUH-LEEZE! Why not some additional character assassination while we're at it. Just make her a sex addict and devote an episode to out-of-control Pon Farr.

It's official, Rick Berman and Brannon Braga had KILLED THE STAR TREK FRANCHISE. You heard it here first.

Could things get more soap operatic than this?

T'Pol a drug addict - lame

Apparently Ent is sent througha sort of wormhole and meets up with an Ent from 3 generations later, that was thrust back 115 years. I don't understand, but oh well.

That sounds even lamer!

And for God's sake, I wish they would get rid of the Xindi arc - its never going to go anywhere, straight to the formation of the federation please!

At the start , this TCW thing sounded ok, I thought we were going to see factions from the future fighting, but we get this Xindi crap , and we know how thats going to end - it is a prequel!

I'm treating this as rumor for now too because I don't want to believe it. If true, what a stupid idea. This may explain T'Pol's emotional states, but now we need an explanation for the new problem. Why did they make T'Pol a Vulcan if they wanted her to be so emotional and weak? That was the very first mistake...

Edit:
You know B&B must have no respect for women judging by the way they're portraying them on this show. T'Pol is just full of problems and her failures are magnified by the fact that she's a Vulcan - a race that is supposed to be strong, smart, and in control. Hoshi apparently isn't deemed worthy of a major role of any kind. When she does get a part, she whines, complains, and pouts. But, of course, B&B finds their chests worthy of displaying...

Bingo

Right on Target.

Bullseye.

I think her character is a fundamental problem with Enterprise, especially since no one else stands out.

Huh?
I heard that she's taking shots of trellium D, or something like that. I find that goes so blantantly against everything that we know about vulcans. What is Breman thinking. I don't want to sound like a broken record, but Paramount needs to fire the whole staff right now, and get a writing staff that knows how to get Trek back on track.

Being a guy I didn't even see the lack of respect they were giving to women. I can see that now though. Especially with Hoshi. I didn't like T'Pol's character from the start, but I thought and still think Hoshi has great potential. She is the sort of character where "what if I was up there with them." Kind of what they wanted to do with Harry Kim.

But now they're trying to duplicate the Big Three connection (Archer-Kirk as the cowboy, Trip-McCoy as the emotional excess, and T'Pol-Spock as the token logic), which is stupid from the get-go (does anyone else see that connection?), and they're ignoring the secondary characters which have been ST's strength since TNG. I also think Mayweather is cool, although I don't care much for Reed and that whole thing.

As a whole I enjoy Enterprise. It's not as good as DS9 or TNG, but it's better than most of the other stuff on TV. If you cancel every show that isn't your favorite there'd be nothing on TV! If you want to cancel this show, what's the alternative?

And furthermore, CAN the franchise be destroyed, much less is it? Even with another failed series or two I be it could go on. Hopefully they will some day see the folly in B&B and get me up there. OK OK. Me and Impulse.

Admiral,

I think they already have assassinated t'pol the most with her and trip getting together. That in itself has been one of the many lowlights of this season.

As for Zero Hour, I hope it a good episode. I also hope it ends this Xindi story and focus more on say THE ANDORIANS.

Agreed. Episodes that feature the Andorians are often excellent. I believe that J. Coombs can just about carry an episode by himself, he's that good. Also, I wouldn't mind seeing Suzie Plakson again, although I'm not sure if she could play the same character.

Neither Berman or Braga are thinking.
Or else they don't think the fans are thinking.

That's exactly it in my never to be humble opinion. They are constantly selling the fans, and potential fans, short.
