I still havent scene the season 3 version of 'Faith of the Heart' But I think the season 1 n 2 version is great ( the vision more than the song ) the song can be changed, but the vision of Chuck Yeager and the early apollo missions is great!!!! |

^^^ Yeah, I love those visuals a lot. I particularly like the scientist (can't recall his name at present) who is writing on the blackboard--it's a shame that the clip is there for only a millisecond.... |

The ship was stranded far away In the uncharted Delta Quad, With Harry Kim ... Tom Paris, too ... A Talaxian ... And B'Elanna ... An ex-Borg drone ... The Delaney girls and a holo-doc ... Here on Voy-a-ger. (Okay, so the rhyming isn't all that great, but it begged to be finished nonetheless). |

I liked the first one as well. The season 3 theme just sounds so out of place and so disorganized. |

I like them the way they are. TOS and TNG had the narrative because it's the Enterprise. DS9 and Voyager I think were good instrumentals, no need for narrative. What would you say? On the edge of a new frontier, the crew of DS9 encounter strange new worlds........ doesn't really work. Voyager would be something like: Stranded in foreign and hostile space, the crew of Voyager desperately fights to return home........ I don't know, if you watch the show, you really don't need an explanation as to what it's about. TOS did, as the whole concept was new, TNG did it I think out of nostalgia, Enterprise, well, honestly I don't like the Enterprise theme that much, I like the visuals, but the pop song? I don't think so. I would've preferred another instrumental, but maybe it was time for something new. |

The Sisko, I think that that's the prevailing attitude of many that don't like the ENT theme. Perhaps an instrumental would have appeased many people, but I must admit that the theme doesn't bother me in the least. All of our children sing it, and my wife loves it as well. You know, we can be thankful that Shatner and/or Nimoy aren't singing the theme. Only Minuet is upset at this, as she owns all of the collected musical works of both men on vinyl and CD.

How about a Voyager Movie

I love the Orchestra themes. The Enterprise thing works with the singing, but I adore the DS9 with that Trumpet and also Voyager... is that a french horn? |

Has anyone ever heard the alternate Enterprise music? It has the same video footage, but it is like Voyager, DS9, and TNG. I saw it linked on a website last year. If they used that one, I'd like it better than the song. |

I have heard it. It is a rip of the 'First Contact' theme. It actually matches up quite well with the into. I love the Alan Shepard portion of the intro!!!! |

^^^ But, TNG's theme was borrowed from Star Trek The Motion Picture, so what's the difference?? |
