The show is getting closer and closer to cancellation every day. The show is expensive and I would bet that even though it's UPN highest rated show (which on UPN is anything with 50 people watching), it's only breaking even in terms of profits. Woudl not be surprised or upset if Enterpise is cancelled and Star Trek can just go away and die for 10 or 15 years.

Just like TOS did... fans survived on books, syndication, and conventions.

Unfortunately, todays fanboy doesn't have the cojones to survive anything that takes more than ten minutes of waiting.

Plus now we have DVD's of good Trek like DS9 and TOS (in 2005) to remind us that not all Trek is of the dreadful, stupid variety ahla Voyabore or Enterprise.

Polarslam,

Is the release date for Star Trek confirmed for 2005? Last I heard they were going to come out in late 2004 but I heard nothing else. I hope they come out with them soon. Having Star Trek, TNG, and DS9 will be a trekker's paradise. ;)

Yeah, it was confirmed by paramount a while back.

TOS full sets will be out in 2005. They are still decideing if they will reaslse them by season, or do one big grand relase of every episode in a huge set for a huge price ($350 ???)

Gdog you are thinking the UK release. They are meant to bring out TOS in October 2004 up till January. Enterprise is slipping and this so called New Voayges is nothing but publisty stunt. They said the produdcers were on. Why would say hi ya doing? Its got to be some clown to make it look like it reached Paramount. Its sad realy. Someone actually told me that someone pmed a so called actor who played Kirk in it and the guy was snobish and rude.

As for Enterprise I see it happening, the Star Trek Magizine (They changed the name) they had an interview with Braga and Braga is nothing but a prat with an ego problem. He like one of those spammers from startrek.com
