Sorry, I don't know too many popular single episodes, so I expect a lot of "other". Please explain your answer. I chose I, Borg for some of the best dialogue and ethical dilema in TNG. |

I voted Yesterday's Enterprise, we saw a point of view of Star Trek that you haven't seen. The Enterprise in the a Military type Starfleet, and the ship is in an alternate timeline. |

I voted for "The Inner Light" I have always liked this episode. Picard living a complete other life and even learning to play a musical instrument. I also liked that they refered to this and followed up in other episodes. It was a great "character growth" episode. |

I picked "Other". My favorite single episode of TNG has always been "Family", the immediate follow-up to "The Best of Both Worlds." Aside from the amusing moments with Worf's human parents, we got a look at Picard's vulnerability. Even the Wesley part of story wasn't that bad.

How about a Voyager Movie

I have an MP3 of that Picard Flute solo. It's pretty cool. ![]() I have so many I like, but the one in season 2 where data plays the game to tie the snooty guy with the cheeks. That episode was ahead of its time being in the Dr, Pulaski season! It was the one where that moderator was assesing Riker's abilities in a battle scenario. The Ferengi appear and are tricked by Rikers brief-warp jump and Worf's fake Romulan war bird approaching. Wesley even contributed

Jagalom, I always wanted to learn the tune on a tin flute, that episode was aired while I was still at school and was in the tin whisle group. I can't read music but I always learn, I like learning something new. |

Here's a write-in vote for "Relics." It was a lovely nod to the TOS series, as well as to Scotty. James Doohan is an extremely personable man and very kind and generous to his fans. I liked the show's message about needing to feel needed and having worthwhile knowledge, even when you feel old and out-of-touch with modern technology. *(Gawd, is my age showing again or what?)* |

By far the best single ep was "The Chase" . I love this episode to death, a good ole fashion mystery that is evenly paced and all comes together in the end, all my favourite characters are given a run, it keeps me on the edge of my seat everytime. Next in line I would have to say is 'The Inner Light" - an episode that always requires a box of tissues, especially when Picard realizes at the end that the rocket is ment for him "Yesterdays Enterprise' Always looks and feels like a Voyager episode - trek thats from left field, thats why its another favourite. |

The Inner Light. I remember thinking this episode was overrated, until I saw it on DVD and learned to appritiate how great it truely is. From some of the great lines such as "I always believed I didn't need children to complete my life. Now I can't imagine my life without them" and "Live now Maripore. Make now your most precious time. Now will never come again." And than you have the Launching scene when Picard finds out the truth and the final scene with picard in the ready room. Both always gets me choked up. |

Gabe, Thanks for the Link. I'm playing it right now, and I'm almost in tears. I love the Piano Additive which just adds so much to the song. BTW, I also want to write in a vote for "Lessons." What a great follow-up to "The Inner Light" and it has one of my favorite scenes in all of Star Trek. Picard (On Flute) and Darren (On Piano) remembering Kataan through the melody in the Jefferies Tube.
