One of the suggestions I made to dan in the other forum was that for the series, we could have different quotes that are the most memorable tp have scrolling at the top. The point of this thread is kind of a fun way to pick the quote for this forum. Basically, what in your opinion, was the most memorable quote for Voyager. What was the one that defined what this series was about. I'll leave this thread open for about a week (I don't know whats going on next week, so it may be longer) and than the quotes we do come up with can be put in a poll for the best one. There is only one rule to this. We want the quote to be short, so if its long, try to shorten it a bit. Thanks and Have fun. |

As with the DS9 forum I like Dan's description (Boldly get lost where no one has gotten lost before)

Well, if most people like them, than these threads can be your typical favorite quote type threads. I do agree though, the one here and in DS9 are a bit funny.

Ok, I have a serious suggestion. "Maybe it's not the destination, but the journey" - Harry Kim |

Chakotay said in one episode in which he was brainwashed to fight for some group that it is much easier to start hating than it is to stop. |

Although I love the boldly getting lost line, my first choice was already taken by Minuet. I might suggest also, "Relax, Ensign, before you sprain something." (Captain Janeway, "Caretaker") |

There is the Doctor singing to Rigaletto while Tuvok is suffering from pon-far: "Tuvok, I understand, you are a vulcan man...." "Tom Paris please find a way, to load a hypo-spray, it won't be hard to find just aim for his behind" or something like that. I wish I could remember the entire song. Once, the Doctor evoked Bones when he said: "I am a Doctor, not a voyeur". This after Janeway found that he had been monitoring the crew's sexual activities. |

"coffee"- Janeway She must have said she wanted coffee in ever episode. It ranks right up there with Earl gray or "its the journey" speech by Kim. |

I think one of my favorites had to be B'Elana's 'Take the Cheese to Sickbay' line. I still would like to know how many takes it took her to say that without cracking a smile!

^^^ Yes, that one is good as well. I liked that title for Tuvok (said only by Neelix, of course). I also liked the standard 'I'm a doctor, not a ****' choices from the Doctor (as well as how he delivered those lines).
