I've been waiting for months and now it fianlly here, I get to see season three for the first time. "YES IT HERE!" but is it worth it? It starts next week, and it Sky is showing episodes from the first season yet I haven't seen Shockwave Part 2. So guys and ladies is it worth it?

Absolutely. As someone who has kept a fairly open mind about the show all along, you should enjoy it, Gabe.

It's better than Season 2 IMO.

It kind of depends what you want from this series Gabe. I mean if you want good development of the stories, characters, and situations than no it might not be worth it. On the other hand, if you want the pace to be picked up from the previous seasons, somewhat of a story arc that builds a mission and runs through the entire season, and an increase in quality from the music angle, than yeah it is worth it.

Based on most of my comments on this board, I have been a naysayer of Enterprise and wish either the show got better or gets put out of its misery. What I want in this show (Character development, interesting stories, and NO BIG THREE) either comes inconsistantly, or hasn't happened yet. Will I watch the remaining season, yes I will. However, if this season doesn't bring us significant episodes/answers to many of my questions soon, I will give up on this series.

I think there is a lot to appreciate in season 3, but not necessarily in the first few episodes. Check for the threads about the episodes that ran here in November, there was a run there that seemed a definite improvement.

I'd like to say it is too soon to tell, but it isn't. The third season has had a few episodes above average (more so than 1 and 2), but hasn't risen to any lofty heights. It is watchable, but nothing outstanding.

I read an artical in the paper and it says the fans are due a nude T'Pol :o I thought Star Trek was about new worlds not nude Vulcans.

This is the 21st century we're way past that 1960's hippie peace and love cr@p. We're more interested in Christina Aguilera videos and Madonna making out with Britney. Why would anyone be interested in anything that appeals to our better natures when it is so much easier to appeal to our baser natures?

Whoever wrote that article hasn't seen "The Xindi" yet...T'Pol very nearly lets it all hang out, so to speak...

What we are due for here stateside (and Canada-side) in a few more weeks is the next batch of new episodes...

I think it is worth it. Just don’t begin the season with too many or too high of expectations. I find that I enjoy a series more from the onset if I at least give it a chance and try to enjoy it on its own merits.

This may be one of the reasons I was so critical of Enterprise at the beginning of season 3. I had very high expectations for this season to be the big coming together of the series. The show has improved somewhat, but I have let go of any illusions that the show will deliver on my original expectations. I think I enjoy the show a little more now. So at least if B&B are finally able to pull the proverbial “rabbit out of the hat,” I will have a pleasant surprise. Posted Image

I haven't lowered my standards (in the negative sense). I have very high standards for what I watch and in fact I am overly critical sometimes. I have just resigned to the fact that this series is NOT going to be what I espected it to be. So I have taken on more realistic standards for this particular show. I still expect a quality show to be delivered...I am just not going to hold my breath waiting.

Don't get me wrong. I am still going to nit pick and slam the show when I think it could have been better. I haven't totally lost my mind. ;)
