http://politics.guardian.co.uk/iraq/story/...1087545,00.html Even nz will have to agree with this, seeing as it came from his favorite UK paper... The article is titled: "Protests begin but majority backs Bush visit as support for war surges" |

B) Pigs SOMETIMES fly in Ohio. I would hope that we not engage in swine-related discrimination here.
Joking .... I'm just joking.
For the unenlightened: Cincinnati had a strange architectural moment in its history when pigs were used to adorn some fairly fancy scroll-work on buildings. They give the appearance of flight bacause of their placement. It is actually possible in some areas to find stuffed pigs with wings. As a result, pigs do "fly" in Ohio. |

I read in Parade Magazine where 60% of the British can't stand George Bush and think he's quite dangerous to the world. Julia |

On a different messageboard, someone's signature quote was something like: "With sufficient forward thrust, even pigs do fly!" |

Funny, I read Parade magazine weekly (it comes with the Houston Comical) and I've never seen that. I think someone is letting their bitterness get ahead of them... |

He can't be Elvis - he's one of the local Square Dance callers here at Newcastle and calls every Wednesday evening at a social square dance club at Glendale (the "Tartan Prominaders") I believe. PS : It's sheep that have wings in NZ. B a a a r r r r r !!!!!
I'm more worried about all those one - eyed one - horned flying - purple - people -eaters that frequent my windows : Everybody .... one , two , three (sing along) Lyrics to Purple People Eater. http://www.shebwooley.com/ppe.htm ![]() "Well I saw the thing comin' out of the sky It had the one long horn, one big eye. I commenced to shakin' and I said "ooh-eee" It looks like a purple people eater to me. It was a one-eyed, one-horned, flyin' purple people eater. (one-eyed, one-horned, flyin' purple people eater) A one-eyed one-horned, flyin' puple people eater Sure looks stange to me. (one eye?) Well he came down to earth and lit in a tree I said Mr. Purple People Eater don't eat me I heard him say in a voice so gruff I wouldn't eat you cuz you're so tough It was a one-eyed, one-horned flyin' purple people eater one-eyed, one-horned flyin' purple people eater one-eyed, one-horned flyin' purple people eater Sure looks strange to me.(one horn?) I said Mr. Purple People Eater, what's your line He said it's eatin' purple people and it sure is fine But that's not the reason that I came to land I wanna get a job in a rock and roll band Well bless my soul, rock and roll, flying purple people eater. Pidgeon-toed, undergrowed, flyin' purple people eater ( we wear short shorts ?) Flyin' purple people eater sure looks strange to me. And then he swung from the tree and lit on the ground. He started to rock, really rockin' around It was a crazy little ditty with a swingin' tune (sing aboop boop aboopa lopa lum bam boom) Well, bless my soul, rock and roll flyin' purple people eater. Pigeon-toed, undergrowed, flyin' purple peopleeater. Flyin' little people eater Sure looks strange to me. (purple people ?) And then he went on his way, and then what do you know. I saw him last night on a TV show. He was blowing it out, a'really knockin' em dead Playin' rock and roll music through the horn in his head (clarinet solo) ( Tequila)" And for you line-dancers (come-on Bill here's your chance to wow us !) http://www.linedancermagazine.com/pdf/purp...ater_wright.pdf or maybe he's into round-dancing http://www.rogerward.com/CueSheets/PurplePeopleEater.pdf - looks like fun and is a bit easier for those of us with two left feet. (sorry about ---- couldn't resist the temptation ---- to rip off the Kiwis at every opportunity ----- all in good fun mind you.) |
