Read von Clausewitz and get back to me. Take your time.

It seems that a great deal of Iraqi's are following Clausewitz to a tee, and bringing diplomacy by other means to their occupiers....

I like Clausewitz, but he's one of those thinkers that can be used in any sitution to justify anything.

And I'll take the Art of War anyday...but it to can be used for anything...hell I've seen books applying the art of war from everthing fomr office politcs to gardening.

That would be true IF WE WERE OCCUPIERS. We are liberators, and most (78%) of Iraqis WANT US HERE. It is only the Saddam loyalists and their al Queda allies who want us gone. HUGE DIFFERENCE.

I've also studied Sun Tzu (or Tsu, if you like). Both were required reading.

No doubt Iraqi's are happy to be rid of a tyrant like Saddam, but also it is not surprising that many wish to have self determination as quickly as possible.

I think that perhaps you should give Bill a sturn talking to and suggest he tone down his posts and refrain from posting such viralent personal attacks on other contributers who have opposing opinions that are just as valid as his own.

Bill:

Chill out *.

Why make so many personal attacks ?

How is NZ crossing the line ?
