Transporters being approved for more frequent human use would be a nice thing. It should also take a bit longer than th 23rd and 24th century versions (at least when it comes to rematerializing). By screens, I assume you mean shields? Yes, they should have something developing along those lines eventually (at least to reinforce/support the hull plating). |

Swidden, Yes, screens/shields. I thought (maybe erroneously) that TOS used the terms interchangeably. I agree that the rematerialization ought to take longer--and also, that the communicators ought to 'beep' for at least as long as they did on TOS. Thus far, they (TPTB on ENT) have handled this aspect of the show (communicators) quite well, I believe. |

I think Enterprise is absolutely perfect as is. I don’t know what everyone keeps complaining about?

^^^^Fesarius and Min You two are funny. Fesarius, I was definitely being facetious and having a bit of fun. I surmised that most people would eventually figure out that I was...especially in light of some of the colorful reviews I give Enterprise every week.

Does anyone have any news regarding the evolution of the transporter or shields in ENT? How about the founding of the Federation? I did pick up that General Schran (in the alternate timeline from Twilight) may have helped Starfleet obtain screens or shields, but being that it was in a different time line.... Any other news about the advancements in ENT? |

I have to admit that I'm losing interest in Enterprise. I think it's lost its window of opportunity IMO. |

Some of its continunity is pretty good. Not all but B&B have to remember half of TOS was all conjectures. The Romulan wars, tranporters, Klingons. What they have done right? They got the communiacors right. I think one of the spiecies of the Xindi was or will be in TOS at one point and is a member race I think. |

Gabe, Really? Do you recall seeing one (or perhaps one being alluded to) in TOS? That would be astonishing to me. But, perhaps they will be part of the (eventually-formed) Federation at some point? |

I watched the episode Bounty last night. The Vulcan Battlecruiser is Stellar! I have not enjoyed a ship design in a long time! |

Gabe, There was no reference to the Xindi in Star Trek. There were only a few non-humanoid aliens in the series. Perhaps you are confusing the Tellarites with the Xindi-sloths? |

I'll have another look, I just saw The Shipment here and the lead alien looks like an alien seen in TOS. I will have a look at the media section of startrek.com to dounle check. |
