Speak softly, and carry a 57 megaton stick!
I was reading the news today and an article caught my attention. It seems that the man who was caught having sex in St. Patrick's cathedral has been "struck down in the prime of his life". I didn't see what killed him but I assume it to be natural causes.

Makes you think doesn't it?

I'm not familiar with the story you're referring to -

If there is a god, I think that he/she is probably pretty comfortable with consensual sex between adults - even in it were to take place in a cathedral.

If the "guy" was worthy of god's action, I suppose we'll be reading an article about the guy's partner's demise in the next few days - maybe rather than natural causes this event will involve fire!

Using my own moral judgement as a guide, I can think of some more appropriate candidates for a supernatural smiting -

Definitely not!!!. When I first heard this story, I was astonished. It never ceases to amaze me how idiotic some people can be.
