Voyager is coming on DVD in febuary of next year. It was annouced last month at the Las Vagas Convention that Voyager is coming in 2004. I wouldn't be surprised if they tacked on a trailer in season 6 or season 7 of DS9 like what TNG did to advertise the DS9 sets. |

After buying DS9 on DVD I can say vey clearly that I would not pay more than 5 dollars to have to sit thorugh the dreck that was Voyager for a second time. I'll wait til 2005 for TOS. |

Yeh, Dont know if I'll bother. I have all eps on VHS. I dont think DVDs will last as long as VHS has. i have a few seasons of TNG on DVD and the've already started jumping. Dvds will be replaced by flash memory or something in the near future. i would rather invest in broadband and download the eps to a hard drive, they would last longer. Anyone noticed that movies played by TV stations have more errors in them nowadays as their DVD players freeze or jump. DVD is not the revolution some people claimed them to be. I'll probably get just a season or two of my favourites. Why is it taking so long anyway??? , I have to wait till 2005 for TOS ???? Why the delay, doesnt paramount want to make money?? .Unless you have cable or Broadband TOS is very hard to get. |

If I purchased Voyager, I would just go for Seasons 1-4. Those were when voyager was really good but than in seasons 5-7 they went down and started producing the crud that we see today. Of course because I did purchase TNG and DS9, I am going to forgo Voyager. Its just too much money for me at this time, and its not really worth it. Besides, I'm saving for when Star Trek comes out in season sets. That will be exciting. |

Its Official Voyager on DVD Here is a link to the pictures of what the sets will look like. Box Sets Picture The boxes look ugly, but its good that voyager is coming. I probably won't get it, unless I can get it for less than $60 on ebay. |

Gdog, Thanks. For some reason, I can't print the pages of the link--my browser keeps closing! Anyway, I had a DS9 question for you, but dang it--I can't recall now what it was. I'll post it when I think of it in the appropriate Forum.

Gdog, I shared the news of VOY coming to DVD with my eldest son last night. To say he was happy would be an understatement. He's psyched. I watched Time and Again on Sunday. I really love that episode (and no, not just for the musical similarities to Space Seed--although those don't hurt. ;)). I like the interaction between Paris and the young boy; Janeway's reasoning regarding her breaking the Prime Directive (and Paris's astonishment when she does break it); and the Kes element throughout. It's not that bad of an episode, and it's only the fourth in the series. |

Thats one thing I will miss by not buying the DVD's. The first 4 seasons were great and Time and Again was one episode I remember enjoying. Glad to hear your son will be buying them. They really are worth it if you really love the series, no matter how much they cost. |

Gdog, You know, they have those contests at Startrek.com (and other places?) whereby one can register and hopefully win a boxed set of TNG and DS9. I'm fairly certain they will do this for VOY (TOS as well?) when it finally arrives. |

You might have a different style in your box set gabe. It seems like those in Region 2 (You're neck of the woods) gets better sets than in region 1. I wish I knew what they looked like, but they are probably better. |
