I think the conservative John Goodman character is a nice twist. By the way, in case anyone is wondering what this has to do with Trek -- I am curious if the people who are interested in Trek are also interested in the West Wing.

Well, the show has what, 3 seasons left? (That is, if they go for the four more years after reelection) If the show is as popular as it is now in 3 years we could see a spin off with the John Goodman character as Pres. Somehow that seems a little too "After Mash" though. . . |
