This is from his website:

(Unfortunately, the only way to navigate to the Issues page is from the Site Map.)

Click and see for yourself.

How many Democratic Generals have occupied the Oval Office? (I suppose Andrew Jackson would be the first.)

The issues page didn't work when I went there. Maybe he needs some help from the father of the internet.

That was the whole point... it says "This feature is under construction" until Wes is told what his positions will be by the Clintons and his handlers (who are former Clinton Administration officials).

In all fairness, every candidate goes through this process of developing their platform. It rarely comes straight from the candidate's gut out on the web page. The strategy is designed and discussed and crafted and then it is put out there. Bush is no different in this regard.

I could certainly spit out my stance on the issues without consulting my handlers.

HEY, my link about Wesley Clark's issues page being empty made the DRUDGE REPORT!

Either our site has a Drudge staffer viewing it, or great minds think alike!

Oh, I picked this little gem from Clark up from news commentary site Lucianne.com:

"Mary, help! Come back and listen to this."

Gen. Wesley Clark to press secretary Mary Jacoby, at the front of the plane, as he faced questions about Iraq.

(Oh, before anyone derides the Drudge Report as meaningless, it does get over 7 million hits a day. Also, no, I don't have contacts that well-placed!)

Keep in mind that General Clark is the guy who leads President Bush in the polls right now. If the election were held now, likely voters favor General Clark by about 3 percentage points!

Fair question. The polls that I'm talking about are done by Gallup/USA Today/CNN. The polls are scientific -

I should have mentioned that 3 percentage points for the poll that I cited is within the statistical margin of error. We could call it a dead heat.

Exciting. I'm thinking President George W. Bush should just go ahead and start planning his Presidential Library (and get ready to retire to his ranch in Crawford, TX :) ).

don't forget the margin of error works BOTH ways - Clarke might actually be 6% ahead of Bush !!!
