http://www.startrek.com/startrek/view/libr...ail/108152.html in this episode of voyager they awoke an acient race of warrior that were very resourceful and who had one be ruthless killers....they could now be back to full strength and maybe discovered a way to the alpha quadrant through one of their subspace "tunnels" and they started to wage war on the federation....they could bring a mix of the casts from various series or jsut bring in voyager and the tng...but at least having ds9 with a limited role would be good too |

I think the phrase is... "Oh God, no!" Geez, Voyager is home, Janeway's an admiral. Let it go. |

It comes down to the basic premise of is there going to be another Star Trek movie? If we're lucky, the franchise will be given a break. What form would another movie take? We have no idea. Both Voyager and Deep Space Nine had pretty solid ends. Especially Voyager. DS9 has the remote chance of doing a story to bring Sisko back from the realm of the wormhole aliens/Prophets, but that would not have broad enough appeal. |

Paramount is not going to build a movie around Harry Kim or "Doctor Photons Be Free", they aren't going to give Chakotay a ship, and Janeway getting a ship again would be a ripoff of the TOS movie franchise. It just won't happen. Conversely, there is a lot of possibility for a DS9 movie (having Sisko back from the wormhole aliens and being a captain in Starfleet), but is there enough appeal? Maybe. Problem is, Berman has a certain loathing for Avery Brooks. This means we'll never see a DS9 flick. Pity, because Brooks and Michael Dorn, adding in Nana Visitor and Rene Auberjonois and Andrew Robinson make for a strong cast. |

Sounds a lot like the Voyager episode 'Dragons Teeth' Id hate to see a movie similar to an episode, thats why i didnt like 'Insurrection' cos it reminded me too much of 'Who Watches The watchers'.

A Voyager movie wouldn't have sucess, it didn't have the fan base backing like it did for TOS or TNG. DS9 did well, but not everyone felt DS9 was worthy. I am happy enough without them going to the big screen. I am happy at least they got a mention, the Defiant was seen in FC, and the station was meantioned in Insurrection, Janeway was in Nemesis. DS9 and VOY will not get a film. |

And Armin Shimerman, Colm Meaney, Cirroc Lofton, Aron Eisenberg, Brock Peters, J. G. Hertzler, and Mark Alaimo. (Might be tough to bring the latter back, though--flashbacks?) |

They'd go back, but I have heard that Berman and Braga didn't really get along with Avery Brooks too well. The cast got tired of all the ho-ha o the show, thats why some shows end after a time. Time to move on, the same with Voyager cast they have moved on to better things. |

What other choices are there , a ENTERPRISE?!?!?!?! movie. no way !! i think by the choices given, a combined VOY/DS9 movie would be most succesful. I really dont care, as long as its good this time( keep Baird the hell away..) and they include at least one Voyager character and Garak.

Agreed. I think its time for the movie series to end. Actually, I think its time for Star Trek to just take a long brake and let all the trek fans everywhere get a chance to soak everything in. We have an over-satuation with trek right now and IMO, its killing what the franchise has always been. Also, if they must make a movie, I would like to see a post-dominion war movie with the DS9 cast. |
