Ok...Temporal Cold War has been set up in series 1 & 2. Series 2 ended in 'The Expanse' Series 3 will no doubt focus almost all the way through on the Delphic expanse. Enterpise now has an elite force of marines on board. Series 4 will probably focus attention on the temporal cold war again. Archer seen the guy helping the Suliban...and i think he is a Romulan. Archer figures out that this mysteryman is in fact a member of the romulan star empire...then end of season 4 will show the run up to a part of Trek History...the Romulan - Earth war. Series 5 (following this thesis) will concentrate on the beginnings of the war with the romulans, skirmishes along the romulan border (remembering that fed space does not exist). Other NX class ships will have already been made (NX 02 would have been completed LONG before series 5). As the romulans break out and into neutral space StarFleet will formulate the idea of a mutual collection of planets who are freindly to Earth...the beginnings of the United Federation of Planets. Series 6 will continue the romulan war (remembering the war continued for a long time) but emphasis will also move to the formation of the UFP. Series 7...may be the end of the Enterprise Run. The Temporal Cold War will reach it's height. The romulan war is still continueing on and the United Federation Of Planets may have formed by this time. Now...the endingof the series can take 2 directions.. 1: It ends with archer sailing into the sunset along with the cast (boring) 2: It ends with Archer being wiped from the timeline with his and starfllets knowledge that it HAD to happen to overt a massive problem that may have cropped up. |

(Info note: In America, we call a series "a season.") Katherine, you have an interesting analysis on the Enterprise run, but I'm going to have to disagree. The reason I disagree is that I don't think that Enterprise will run past Season/Series 3. Ratings are down, and most fans didn't seem to react well to the "concept" of the Xindi. If Berman/Braga are planning to focus this year on this extended story arc, it will doom the show. A funny thing, back a year ago on Startrek.com I predicted that Enterprise would be cancelled midway through Season/Series 4... due to the fact that no one watched anymore. I took the rate the show was shedding fans (approximately 100,000 per episode) and extrapolated it out to figure out when the last fan would watch. Now I don't think it will get that far. Enterprise's original premise (being the prequel to Star Trek) was great. Too bad it never, ever approached this. This show has been nothing more than an ego trip for Braga/Berman and a source of dwindling revenue for Paramount. |

A lot of people have been saying that enterprise will probably not go past season 4. Thing is thugh a lotof people said that about TNG. Even more said it about Voyager, and people were stunned to see DS9 go past season 3. If any show should have stopped at season 3 it shouldhave been DS9, it was universally panned. I still think Enterprise will run on...even if a lot of people are not watching it just now. |

No offence - I really hate endings like this. Why even bother telling the story if you are going to just say it never happened any way. I'd rather live with all the problems that enterprise has caused then just say puff ... rewind ... lets pretend it never happened. |

Enterprise is no where never as creative as DS9 was. and in my opinion it has taken the bad things about VOY and magnified them. The one thing that I didn’t like about VOY was the one dimensional aspect of it (and don’t get me wrong I like all the treks). Yea it was fun an existing, but fun and existing gets boring real fast. Enterprise is doing this too, but on a larger scale. Not to mention I don’t see that much creative thought in it ether. |
