"The men rush to save Planet Earth while the women go shopping for new clothes"

Does that whole idea bother anyone else?

Yeah, it does. Earth was attacked and the woman go shopping. I really hope one time this season, they have a totally "Off Enterprise" type show (Kind of like DS9's "Homefront" and "Paradise Lost") where we see how this attack has affected earth. If they want this to be an arc storyline, that idea is a pretty good one.

It bothers me greatly. They might as well say "sexual stereotyping ahoy! Woohoo! Exciting! And next week, lots of contrived PMS jokes!"

Yes a little bit. It also bothers me that Braga thinks he Gods gift.

Time to put something here
The whole idea that they need to invent this huge addition into the trek universe when they haven’t completely explored the time they chose to do the show in bothers me. Why not try good writing before a complete overhaul. I guess its cheaper to through the whole thing out and state a new then fix the mess they made.

(puts on her Braga mask) Oh, man, it bothers me too. It's hard being God's gift, you know.

Thank you, Dante! I couldn't have said it better!

I'm still hoping -- at the very least -- that they'll need Hoshi to save the day with some translation or language problem that the Universal Translator can't handle. With a 5 different Xindi species, I'm hoping her skill will be needed far more than they were in season 2. It'd be nice for her to have something really important to do this year.

Yes, that would be interesting. At the moment I'm thinking she's there as eye candy and to leap over the occasional plot hole.

Well said. I'd love to see them explore 2151-2161 carefully, and especially the formation of the Federation and perhaps some type of veiled conflict with the [Romulans]. Wouldn't it be a Trip ;), though, if they were doing this, and surprised us all by (say) Season Six? Question: Could the 'expanse' eventually be the Neutral Zone? (I don't have star charts in front of me, so I can't make any comparison between the two.)

That's what I was hoping we'd see from Enterprise... the Romulan wars and the forming of the Federation.

I don't think we'll ever see that.

Oh, the expanse would be too close to Earth (3 months at Warp 5 would be 40-odd light years)... we'd see it with the naked eye, and it just wouldn't fit into the Neutral Zone scheme of things (like how Romulans travel in and out of it).

Ever wonder why the Roms could travel through a "neutral" zone, but we couldn't?

Okay, thanks. I wasn't sure.

Do tell! Unless that was a trick question. ;)
