I vote for Riker. After the much needed personality change in season 2, he just got better with time.

Guinan - if for no other reason, she could wear those hats. :D

Actually, I also like Ensign Ro. She was one of the first "imperfect" Starfleet officers.

Well I have to go with Worf. I love the culture, drama and fighting spirit that Worf and the Klingons bring to Star Trek.

Data, Data is Spock of TNG. Data is te one that got me into learning more about everything else in life.

Data is hilarious! ("Yes that's it! I HATE this stuff" with a huge smile.)

And his acting is hard to top IMHO.

I voted for Wesley. Probably because I was young when I watched the show and considered myself alot like him. I always wanted to be Wesley!

Wow, your the first trek fan I've seen to say something like that about Wesley. I agree, he wasn't all that bad.

Thanks.

BTW, welcome to the board. :)

I went for Data, but it was close with Picard. Thing is they are all good characters. If it was the best cast the TNG no doubt. I cant remember where I read this but I remember it:

The TNG crew was like a family, Picard the father figure, Beverly the mother hen, Guinna the wise Grandma, Dianna the caring sister, Riker the eldest cool brother, Data the eccentric brother, Geordi the brother who is never lucky in love, Worf the angry but under the surface soft brother, Wes the young 'spolit brat', Roe the long-lost troublsome half-sister, Pulaski the mother-in-law.

I went for Worf, because his qualities appeal to someone like me...honesty, bravery, determination, unquestionable devotion to and loyalty, but also fallable and sometimes to quick to make rash choices...

Thanks for the welcome! Wesley was my favorite, but I liked them all. I still can't believe that they killed off Data. :(

I agree. My two favorite Star Trek characters, Kirk and Data, both dead!

What's up with that!

I became very fond of Beverly. She was calm, and always knew what she was doing and there was something reassuring about that. She also managed to keep an air of mystery about her. I always wondered what she was thinking.

Cant really say which one I like best ( all though a few I didn’t like at all) because I like them all for different reasons. The whole cast was great, they really made you care what happened to there characters (like feeling bad when Tasha died, even though it can be seen as geeky). Enterprise is really lacking in this, It has been two seasons already and I don’t have the same felling for the characters.
