Bare hands? Yes Please.

Okay so I finally went to see Captain America A Winter Soldier. Way too many explosions, gun fire, and arse kicking, but staring into Chris Evans' crystal blue eyes (as well as his many other assets) was well worth the price of the movie ticket.

Don't make me use my bare hands on you.

I took my eldest daughter to see it as a date night. She loves the hero movies. To me, the plot seems to get lost in the action/explosion/violence scenes to me. They rely to heavily on these effects to carry the movie and neglect story a bit, IMO. But, it seems to be the formula with action movies. I am not attracted to Captain America sexually. |

Hee hee hee! LOL Hoss! Just my estrogen taking over my emotions. But seriously, I think the story was well done, with background character development and many twists and turns. I really liked the throw back to War Games. Of course the stunts were amazing, as I had expected. I also liked that Mr. USA used his wits and strength with that metal Frisbee, rather than just taking the easy way and pulling out a gun and shooting. And the movie did not portray women in general as being weak. Another one of my fav's of the movie. The cameo by Stan Lee was great! |
