Yeah, the ending made no sense at all.

Great choice, Admiral! :omg:

Last night I watched another one of George Pal's classics, Conquest of Space.

Where did you get it?? Been looking for a copy. Wasn't there talk of a remake a while back?

Last one I watched was the classic "Earth Vs. The Flying Saucers" over the weekend...hadn't seen it in many, many years.

I love Earth Vs. the Flying Saucers -- great choice!

My last sci-fi film was Ghost Rider, which may or may not qualify as sci-fi depending on one's perspective.

Agreed. I do like Matt Damen though.

I just watched Red Planet last weekend. It kinda reminded me of the Apollo 18 movie that came out about 6 months ago.

Starbase, I saw When Worlds Collide in the five dollar bin at Walmart. I'll keep that in mind when I go.

In the theaters or DVD? :headscratch:

I had not been to the movies in ages. The most tempting movie to see on the big screen this year is Dark Knight Rises in July. I might want to see Star Trek 2 coming soon in late summer.

Other than that the closest I got to watching a scifi flick is a repeat of Star Wars - A New Hope. That is all.

Day of the Triffids comes on tonight. I've wanted to see this movie again for a long time. Got the Tivo ready to record.

I'll have to check mine, they have a couple set up.

I got three Harryhausen movies for Christmas, "Earth vs. The Flying Saucers," "It Came From Beneath The Sea" and "20 Million Miles To Earth." All bona fide classics.

I got all three from Oldies.com, it's actually a couple bucks cheaper to buy them individually than in the three-pack they also come in. Only thing is, after I got "It Came From Beneath The Sea," I found a two-disc set of it at Shop-Rite for $9...would have spent the few extra bucks for the extra features. Just like I just picked up the two-disc 70th Anniversary set of "Wizard Of Oz," I'm pretty sure it's the same print of the movie from the previous release which I have, but the second disc has almost all different features than the earlier one. I think the three-disc set released for the 70th Anniversary has the features from both together.

I checked at my Walmart this morning, didn't find it, but I was finally able to add "Unfaithful" to my Diane Lane collection... :P
