Right now at Oldies.com, you can get "Genesis II," "Planet Earth," "Strange New World" and "Earth II" for the sale price of $14.98 each...in fact, they have many titles from the Warner Archive Collection on sale (remember, these are "legal bootlegs" made by Warner Video on DVD-R and made on a per-order basis).

The sale lasts until August 31st. I'm ordering GII and PE.

Also, starting this coming Tuesday, they will have the classic "Master Of The World" with Vincent Price available...

Starbase,

Hey, thanks! I have wanted some of those titles (seriously) for years. Much appreciated. :)

The sale price makes it well worth it. They also have a number of the Godzilla Remastered series films on sale for $6.98.

My movies should be coming today, I'll see what the quality is, etc and pass it along.

I recommend both discs...they are very good quality (not remastered but very clean) and are fun to find all the Trek connections.

The world of GII could easily be made to fit into the post-WWIII era in the Star Trek timeline if it was moved back from 2133 to the mid-21st century.

Starbase,

Thanks for the additional information. Those look like some fun titles. :)

BTW, I recently picked up the Horror 250 Movie Pack. It had been out-of-print for a while, but I was finally able to get a copy. This is one interesting set. Here is a link, from which you can see the contents of the collection.

The sale has now ended, so they're probably back to the $24.95 regular price, if they go on sale again I'll make it known. Next time I'll get "Strange New World" and "Earth II.'

Amazing how much of GII that Roddenberry actually lifted from the Buck Rogers story...only Buck slept until 2419, Dylan Hunt only slept until 2133.
