I think y'all are right about the awards. They do seem to be nothing more than a popularity contest.
Although, I do find it interesting pop cultures interpretations of different aspects of human personality. In writings and now movies, it seems to have a long history. Shelley, Dumas, Wilde, Stoker, Kafka, Cooper, even freud. I'll avoid the religious, histories.

You're not missing anything by not seeing the movie. Definitely pop pulp. I wonder if its a type of stream of consciousness thing. Like culture is now interested in that type of personality. Visually, I've always been intrigued by models when walking down the runway, having blank faces. I've heard its so others can project whatever they want to imagine onto them. I've noticed that too with acting.

Anyway, it comes to mind whenever I sign in here, because this is only one of two boards I have time to post on. And I see this user name a lot lately. Annoying. Thanks!

Twilight, I never associated your handle with the movie because you have been here so long and I know you predate the movie with that handle.

Thanks Minuet. I didn't know they would make a movie, it would be so big and last so long. Gets old. Now Prancing around the woods in my underwear, that never gets old. Thats brisk baby!

I don't know if Hoss is serious or not. I've tried doing that through my control panel here, but nothing. If you could that would be great.

I just saw that you had a request to change your name on Dec 16. I will see about that.

You are now "Coda" per your request.
