Don't make me use my bare hands on you.
I went to Sea World yesterday. I even brought the wife and kids.

Anyway, it is amazing what you can get whales, dolphins, and seals to do for a bucket of fish.

I guess if someone had a six-pack of beer, I'd jump in the water and do all sorts of goofy tricks too.

Anyway, I got splashed by a whale's tale and bought a souvenier hat. w00t!

 I first read the word 'Anyway' as 'Apparently'. I was like, what? you're not sure? Haha.

Glad you had a good time. :)

This week is spring break for my kids, and a bunch of other school districts around the country as well. Sea World was packed. That was the third time I have been there and I have never seen it nearly that full. Six Flags was closed this week, and only open on weekends, this may be why Sea World was so full.

I wonder why Six Flags would be closed during spring break. They are missing out on a ton of business.

This is all taking place in San Antonio BTW, which takes me couple of hours to get to depending on traffic.

I hear Six Flags was filing for bankruptcy.

Sea World is cool. I like aquariams and planetariums, too. :)

The aquariums are cool. The shark encounter, I think is what it is called, has several giant aquariums in it with sharks, rays, eels, lobsters, etc.

I also like the peguin building where you can watch the penguins swimming around in the water. They always look so formal.

I also dropped a sardine (or whatever) into a dolphins mouth. I couldn't get one to drop a hamburger into my mouth. Selfish sea mammals.

The first time I read this, I thought you said you had bought your wife and kids... I'm like, if you want an inter-species family, that's your business...

We used to have a Seaworld in Ohio. They wanted to sell tickets to Scout troops so they would have special meetings for the staff with a free day at the park included. So basically, I usually got in free.

As I recall, there were about 5 food or t-shirt shops for every exhibit.

Although, the overnight opportunity where you could sleep in the same room with the shark tank was kind of cool.

:headscratch:

Isn't that kind of like having a naval base in Iowa?

:wow:

Aurora, Ohio. I remember.

I never realized it was closed until I wanted to revisit the place.
