I remember the first commercial. "A chocolate mess!" Remember the other one (a bit earlier, I think, but I believe it was for the same product) -- "The dirty dealer meant no harm." :)

Hey, It's Kool-aide. "oh yeah!"

How about a Hawaiian punch?

I'm coo-coo for coco puffs.

Yes, I watched a lot of Saturday morning cartoons in the late 70s early 80s

The Old Alka Seltzer commercials. "I can't believe I ate the whole thing" and "Plop, Plop, Fizz, Fizz, Oh what a relief it is!" are classics

Funny you mention the Kool Aid commercials. I met the woman who was the "Kool Aid Mom" back in the early 80s commercials. Peggy Tuck used to do the morning news on a local talk radio station. I met her when I was helping out with the first Houston area Rally for America back in 2003. Nice lady, and I remember the commercials. Sadly, I didn't recognize her from them... just some blonde "Mom" type in an apron. She had tales to tell about doing TV commercials back then.

I liked the commercials with the baker getting up at all hours... "Time to make the doughnuts," he'd mutter, blearily. It was an old Dunkin' Donuts commercial.

Yeah the Dunkin Doghnuts guy with the black mustache!

Is that the same guy who played the role of Mister Whipple the "Don't squeeze the Charmin" guy?

How about this one: "New A - jax ... Laun-dry detergent ... is stronger than dirt!"

I can hear the tune as I type those words. :)

Apparently we look like this now
Doxidan Doxidan, when nature needs a helping hand....

Remember that commercial with the people on a bus, a cowboy with a guitar gets on, and the people insist that he sing a song. So, he starts singing about the laxitave, Doxidan. At the end of the commercial, everyone on the bus is singing along. :banghead: :yuck:

Jaggs,

I too was in diapers for those commercials, at least during their initial run.
