I was going to suggest talking like a pirate on Talk Like a Pirate Day.

Yarrrrrrr.

In reality, social events? Try a company picnic type of thing if possible (unless the store never closes). I would say an emphatic, "No" to the Mr. and Mrs. quizzes. Some people could definitely take that one the wrong way no matter how innocent.

If you really want to build a little social cohesion have mandatory calisthenics before each shift. Ten minutes of jumping jacks and running in place, followed by some push ups will bring everyone together... they'll all be united in hating this!

Thanks, I'll be here all week.

Ugh, I heard they do that at Walmart! One of the many reasons I would not apply to work there!

It wasn't a hard workout.

It was more that we felt silly doing it.
