This much...
Under normal circumstances, there would be no question that McCain is the pro-life candidate. Not as much as a social conservative, but much more pro-life than a Marxist democrat who voted to kill failed abortions... in other words, babies who were supposed to be aborted, but didn't die in the procedure. This sounds like a stunning example of the Bradley effect. He's already made up his mind, but probably told CNN this so as to sound more... you know. |

That is a plausible argument, but I tend to think this guy is sincere, because I don't think a person would let it go this far if he was using the concept of being 'undecided', but was really planning on a vote for McCain. |

Media covering Obama? Or uniformed voter not doing his homework? Like you said, I think it's obvious with just a quick search who is the (more) pro-life candidate. Sounds to me like this voter just isn't taking the time to do basic research. |

Well, dude, I'm not going to argue that point at all, because I agree 200% that this man is an uninformed voter. That said, it seems your premise is that for a potential voter to be informed, they must do that basic research themselves, irrespective of their abilities and aptitude in doing that basic research. If that is your premise, then I gotta disagree with it, because the task of the news media is as a watchdog for the countless people who just can't busy themselves to do that basic research and the fact that this man can't decide on such a straight forward, black and white issue so to speak, speaks quite loudly in favor of the notion that the media is biased. |

I would have to say that if some one can't be bothered to take a little time to read where each candidate stands on the various issues (unbiased sites exist on such), then perhaps the founding fathers were right in their hesitance of allowing the unintelligent masses to vote! |

I still gotta disagree, because these people believe they have spent the time to get informed... they sat down in front of the TV and got their info from the mainstream media. |

That (so-called mainstream television media) is pretty much how the left side of the Bell Curve gets their news.

^^^ Well, I don't know what side of the Bell curve get their news from where, but I'm pretty certain that those who get their news from TV, irrespective of intelligence, get a skewed view of many events. |
