Been a while since we had a Sistertrek survey on this.

And to be inclusive , lets see what the nonUSA people think too.

If you have changed you who think you will be voting recently - why did you ?

Might have been an idea to offer 'changed vote' as poll options rather than making people identify what they've done on the thread :)

:rotfl: :rotfl: Obviously you don't , so why comment ? afterall we already know from prior instances how you feel . :rotfl: :rotfl:

However, you are not the only one here and you do not have any more say on how this place is run than I do .

Some others may well be interested - it gives an indication of how the USA and the hopefulls are viewed.

AdmiralBill,

You might not be interested in what our non-american posters have to say about our election next week. The purpose of this thread was to ask US citizens and citizens of the world have they changed their minds on whom they would vote for in our election next week.

This comment was nasty and unncessary. Please don't derail this thread with those types of comments.

Thank you

I've always admired Sen. McCain personally. Moreso the McCain of 2000. Listening to him and studying his positions these past few months, I think I'm more compatible with his viewpoints by a hair than those with Sen. Obama's but what sits in the back of my mind is the last 8 years of the Bush administration and Sarah Palin.

McCain started well with me and maybe if he had chosen a different vice presidential running mate and stuck with his original campaign rhetoric then maybe I'd be at a crossroads right now.

I think at this point, most everyone has their mind made up by now.

Intrepid.

I feel the same way. I really like John McCain, but his decision to pick Sarah Palin has made me rethink my position.

I do wonder whether if John McCain had picked a running mate with more experience and particularly with a strong economic background (to complement his foreign policy strength) if he would not be in a stronger position.

I think so, but that's just my opinion. :chin:

McCain could have re-captured the support of his base by voting against the $850,000,000 pork-laden bail out.

I think the selection of Palin has garnered a bit more support than it lost. She seems to be a "love her or hate her" candidate.
