Well, I think the message to Republicans is clear. Don't use someone as your poster boy unless you have all the facts. |

I hope that Noah will read this. It may help him understand that he is completely wrong. His opinion is noted, but it does not reflect the facts. |

Leftists just can't help themselves...
And the media take in the title of the article is also interesting in that the title tries to suggest the man was suspended for using the f-word, but not his desire to see someone dead. |

Admiral, but what if I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really want something to be true. Doesn't THAT change the facts? |

Now, he could have apologized for saying it but no, he apologized that it was heard on the air. So, I gather that he didn't make this statement in the "heat of passion" (so to speak)? Where's the outrage? I'm sure someone will bring up G. Gordon Liddy's call to shoot federal agents who trespass on your property without a warrant (I thought he was brought up in another thread during the election cycle), but not a peep about this? KGO should fire this guy. None of this mamby-pamby suspension. He made a threat. He called for a specific person to be killed. |

It isn't enough for the Dems to defeat their opposition. They have to destroy them too. |

Here we go again. One idiot shoots off his mouth and suddenly he represents "the Dems" Utterly ridiculous. And this from someone who has clearly stated in the past that he does not represent the opinion of all Republicans............ |

Well Min, considering the tactics of the governor of Ohio... 8247's comments seem to have a little merit here... Consider if you will what happened to Sarah Palin. Battalions of investigators "parachuting" into Alaska to dig up dirt. Allegations that Palin's latest pregnancy was a fake to cover up for her daughter's pregnancy? Hit pieces in glossy magazines. Allegations of incest that even made it to a television show. Before you say, "what about Obama" think about that. The only irrational claim was the "he's a Muslim and wasn't born in this country" screed. It wasn't only false, it was ridiculous on the merits (you'd think that someone would know if he was born in this country BEFORE he ran for president). Aside from that, let's see... Bill Ayers was true. Jeremiah Wright was true. His comments to Joe the Plumber were on tape. His recent comments about bankrupting coal companies who build new plants was on tape. His voting record is published. I could go on if you'd like. |

Not at all, Min. I'm afraid that you try to hard to be centrist and miss the "elephant in the room." |

Joe the Plumber certainly has been making the rounds on various talking head shows. I'm wondering how long he is going to milk his 15 minutes of fame. |

^^ If that moonbat Cindy Sheehan can do it for 4+ years, I'm sure Joe can do it for at least another month or so...But, he isn't annoying the president.
