My new toy , had to wait 3 months for it come from Vixen in Japan . Arrived yesterday :woohoo:

mine is the New Atlux and has the latest controller (not the old Skysensor2000PC shown in the picture).

It's a beast , makes my old Celestron mount look like a toy. Weight = HEAVy , will make my muscles work moving it and the heavy duty tripod about to do astroimaging at my favourate dark site.

I considered the next one up , the Galax , but it's not a portable GEM , is meant to go onto a permanent pier in an observatory.

Autoguider on the way too.

$6690 (Australian) , I got a great deal , mine is the very first New Atlux sold in Australia , it's rrp is about $9000.

Been drooling over these Atluxes for several years .

Sure can , via your local national distributor.

You'll might need a crane to get it out of the box , did I say it's heavy ? no plastic in it - it's all metal.

I will be putting my 10" newtonian astrograph on top of it, It's portable too .

My other telescope is way too big to be portable , I'll be building a trailor fork equatorial mount for it.
