Traveler of a Thousand Years Posts: 16,830 Group: Members Member #220 Joined: Apr 6, 2004	I thought this would be a nice change of pace from usual RPs. The premise is sort of a side-story to Case Closed, starring our fanmade characters. This will be more mystery and drama-based than action. Characters from Case Closed can and will appear (I plan on using Jimmy/Conan, Rachel, and Richard). Now for character suggestions: 1: Detectives: Either private or with the police, or a self-made one like Jimmy and Harley. 2: Police officers: We'll need someone to help the detectives. 3: Thieves: If you want a more enigmatic and antagonistic role, you can be a master theif like Phantom Thief Kid. 4: Members of the Black Organization: This is more of a villianous role, where you are a member of a crime syndicate with a codename after a form of liquor (Gin, Vodka, Vermouth, etc) Some basic rules: 1: The person who creates the case is the one who decides how it goes. They can decide if they want their character or another specific one to solve it. You are to free to figure out the case yourself or help influence, but discuss it with the creator of said case. Like if you want your own character to discover a piece of evidence you thought on your own, talk to the creator. But please talk if you want your character to actually say he/she solved the case. However, you can tell the creator if you yourself figured it out just to see if you're right. 2: No making a character guilty party without discussing it with me or the owner of the character. (Me if its a series character). They can suspected, but not guilty. 3: If you want your story out, you have to be patient if another one is going on. We can't have two seperate cases at the same time without causing too much confusion. Just talk to me for handling the order of cases. Name: Tom Katol Age: Twenty-three Status: Self-made detective. Considered the genius young detective of the United States and has solved many difficult cases the cops themselves couldn't figure out. Intellect level rivals Jimmy's (He figures out Conan is Jimmy in their first encounter) Skills: Detective inutition, keen eye, master marksman, master of Akikido, knowledge of many eastern cultures, is able to speak Japanese fluently Personality: Lazy, has a joking side to himself, loves Japanese culture, a fan of mysteries, serious about solving cases, fights with Rei (Another character I plan) but secretly is in love with her Appearance: semi-long dark brown hair, wears glasses, likes wearing black and red shirts with Japanese letters on them, blue jeans, tall, somewhat average built Bio: Tom became interested in the law enforcement and detective worlds as he grew up listening to his grandfather's stories. His late grandfather was a high-intellect detective who is said to be unmatched even today. He developed his skills thanks to the resources of knowledge his father, an Interpol police officer, made avalible to him. He came to Japan to study abroad...but Conan suspects there's more, especially after hearing about Tom's grandfather being murdered. Edited by DoubleL, Nov 7 2009, 01:44 PM.
