I'm doing discussion on emotions in my interpersonal communication class. For the presentation, I need to do an activity that involve the whole class. Yes, you can say role playing, but I have no creative mind to think of any stories. Beside, I would need more than just stories and emotions. Also, I need to tie these activities back to interpersonal communication (communication between two individual). So any one have any ideas that can play me? Please? |

hmm...don't really understand, but...maybe the class can act like a big family that gets together at thanksgiving or a big family function? and have additional people there like new friends, spouses, children, etc. then they could study interactions like that. not sure if that is what you're looking for tho, mal. |

It has to be based on emotion, Angelo. |

Political debate? Those people always bring their emotions into things. Just split the class into two groups and give some topics to argue about. :) |

I did this for comm class in the past. I just divided the groups into male and female and threw them some questions. I cant remmber all of them but I think one of them was "argue on the fact that females cant drive!!!" I think they argued for like goooood 2 hours with emotion. |

I think Joe's right on the money and what J.O. suggested also works. Also, since you need to tie in the cooperation of the class with two people then select a topic everybody can relate to whether male or female like maybe the pressure of fitting in. Anyway most likely i am replying way late and you already did it, Mal. So, how did it went down? Did you apply some of our ideas or you still haven't done it? |
