Overlord Posts: 9,467 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: June 21, 2003	So I bought a DS Lite. It's an Onyx Black one. It's been pretty cool so far. I bought Final Fantasy 3 and Pokemon Pearl. Sure it may make me a geek for getting Pokemon but really pokemon is basically the best hand held game ever made. Final Fantasy 3 is fun and all but Pokemon is just addictive. So...Anyone know of any other great DS games? Final Fantasy 12 is gonna come out around christmas so I know I'm gonna get that. :yeahhh:

If anything, Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is coming out this fall. Mario Kart DS is a great multiplayer game if you and your friends/girlfriend want to play together. The New Super Mario Bros is a good platformer if you're a fan of the old school Mario games. DS has plenty of puzzle games if you like those. You can be like Utada Hikaru and be awesome at Tetris DS. But there is plenty on the DS. Just find them.

There's also Animal Crossing which can be addictive if you let it. Like Arnell said, Mario Kart is a must! Anything Zelda is gold! And as for Final Fantasy XII...i wouldn't get too excited about it. I mean it may be the same franchise but it's not gonna be an exact replica of the ps2 game and by that i mean that'll probably be crap.

Yeah I was checking out screen shots of Final Fantasy 12 for the DS and it looks a lot more like the Mana Series but I like those as well. so we will see. And as for the Final Fantasy it says number 3 for the DS but maybe it's a remake of 6 but they called it number 3. idk.

The Natural Playboy Posts: 3,793 Group: Admin Member #2 Joined: June 21, 2003	It's Final Fantasy III Japan, the one that was never released in the US before now. III America was actually VI, and that has not been remade. It's been incarnated 2x after the SNES. Once on Playstation and once on GBA.
