Then i hear from one of my friends that his also died and i was like "I never leave mine plugged in" and because of that i thought i was safe... Well one day i turned it on and voila! The 3 rings of DEATH! They call it that cause it flashes 3 times... The problem is Microsoft themselves claim they don't know what's the cause of the "problem". They give you a bunch of munbo jumbo saying it could be 1500 possibilities... However, rumor has it that it's caused by playing long hours and if that's true then we're gonna have an epidemic by this holiday thanks to games like Mass Effect, Bioshock, Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty 4, and Halo 3... The good news is that the big M just extended their warranty up to 3 years from the date you purchased it and you don't have to pay for anything. You just send your 360 and either they repair it or send you a new one. The bad part is i hear it takes weeks or even a month to get your 360 back... This sucks...

It appears that the reason why it flashes the red light it's because the 360 can tell if a certain part of it it's malfunctioning...in this case overheating might be which is rumor to be caused by long hours of gameplay... in my case The Darkness consumed mine apparentaly...

I think it was caused by over playing because everynight she would watch movies and Family Guy DVD's on it and one day it just did the rings.

They seem to have a problem with shipping stuff to Puerto Rico and told me to send my Xbox to their repair center. Anyway i'll be doing that in a few days.

Still, when i check my repair status on Xbox.com is says that they're still waiting for the machine. So, i'll have to call them tomorrow to verify that.
