You guys will be happy to know i'm back, yes, officially. No more posting one time and appearing randomly next month. haha Anyway, like i said, i'm trying to loose weight. Now in the past i've tried working out for a certain period of time but i always seem to loose interest in it. I think that's because i have no one to cheer me on (yes you guys would be like my cheerleaders lol) or to encourage me to keep going. And i've realized that i can't do it alone, i feel that having your support will encourage me not to let you down. These are the exercise routines i'm doing: 32 Push-ups 16 Sit-ups 10 Squads 10 Jumping Jacks I'm doing all these daily mixed in with work and a couple of dance routines like JTL's "Enter The Dragon". I'm also drinking lots of water. Right now my weight as of yesterday 8/15/07 is 326...not good... Anyway, i'm gonna be doing those routines gradually which means i'll up the ante each week cause i don't wanna overdue it or potentially hurt myself. If you guys have any tips feel free to mention them or if you got another routine you guys think i should be doing then show me a video for it and i'll add it! So, right now is 326, next Whensday you'll see whether or not i've lost weight... Wish me luck! P.S. I bet a million bucks none of the ladies will ever reveal their weight... lol |

good luck, edwin! main thing is, no matter what you do, stick to it, and have a goal, but make sure its a healthy one. i dont know about exercise routines, but i used to do those every now and then, but i never stuck to it, it became "routine". from just this past month, i've lost 13 pounds (207 to 194, and dropping)...for me, what i think worked, was sticking to a regular schedule for eating. not a diet, just when i eat. its cuz of my job, its 7 to 3:30pm everyday. i just eat a small crescent roll, or bagel in the morning, not eat til i get home, most definitely not eat before bedtime...and make sure to keep drinking water all day to stay hydrated. not like i planned this out either, it just happened to turn out this way. and it worked to my advantage...and it helps that i have a job that requires lots of physical activity too. maybe i should exercise too, see if that has additional benefits one bit of advice, do not get discouraged if you fail to meet a certain number...its all about how healthy you are...so eat healthy, stay positive...and yeah, i'm totally not qualified, its just like common-sense advice good luck, hermano ^_^ |

I can't really say that I've tried to loose weight, so I can't really help you there. I can say that I've tried to slim down my tummy so that it will compliment my figure. What I did one summer was do crutches (25--50--25--50 between intervals). I also did stretches before my crutches. I did these like 5 days outta the week. My advice is to refrain from eating fried foods (yes, no matter how tempting it may be; I only treat myself to fried foods once in a while). I avoid fries and greasy food. Drink WATER. From my experiences, drinking anything OTHER than water only make you gain more weight. Walking is good exercise too. I think of it this way. W/e I have time to lay down and watch T.V, I pull myself up and start exercising on the floor while watching T.V. Another thing, b/c it's summer and b/c some ppl have alot of free time, DON'T EAT TO GET RID OF BOREDOM. ONLY EAT IF NECESSARY OR WHEN YOU'RE HUNGRY. Feed yourself well. |

Jiyoung you may think you're on the heave side but what's the secret? I mean how can you look that good and not be on a diet?
:) Angelo, Chee, thanks, guys. I think one of my biggest problems is eating between meals. Plus, everytime i watch my favorite shows i feel like i have to eat something in order to enjoy it. It's a very bad habbit which goes to what Chee was saying about only eating when you're hungry. Anyway, right now trying to see if i can eat normally and still loose weight. If i see that in a couple days i didn't loose much then i'll try things differently and do twice as much as what i'm doing. |

Yeah i know cause after a week i'm at guess this...325...only 1 pound loss! Damn it! I've been sweating every single day for basically nothing! Then again like i said i have been eating the same so it probably helped stay in that weight. Now what i'm gonna do is not eat between meals and do twice as much exercise as what i'm doing to see my results next week! |

okay, do everything in sets so you can optimize the things you do. Here's my routine: 6 sets of 25 Push Ups 6 Sets of 75 sit ups Run without stopping for at least 5 minutes, walk for 1, then again for about 2 miles. if you get to go to the gym, I suggest 3 sets of 10 bicep curls 3 sets of 10 tricep lifts 3 sets of 10 squats 3 sets of 10 bench presses. I'm not buff, but it's kinda working for me. Make sure you eat right as well. I mean, you can run on a treadmill for and hour, and you'll lose 200-300 calories. but if you eat one peice of chocolate, that's already 100 calories. |

For your sit ups lift your legs in the air. It causes you to then work your core instead of your back. Also you could try eating what you normally eat but in smaller Portions. Thats what Weightwatchers is all about. That way you don't have to eat diet crap and you're still gonna lose weight. Anyways I'm trying to gain weight. I'm 6'0" and I weight 140. Seeing as in your dissing post about me being a woman. I think you owe me 1 Million $'s! :) |

Run (treadmill or otherwise). My friend lost a lot of weight by starting off with mostly running. He also does small weight training with the weights and machines at his apartment's gym area. Do it consistently. Don't have to do it everyday at first. Maybe every other day and then build to every day. At least an hour each day. |

First off i appreciate the tips, i'm taking notes everytime. Thing is i look slimmer but i won't weight myself until a couple of days. I've cut down all sugars and i'm basically eating vanilla yogurts (one a day) which are low-fat and only has 60 calories. I'm drinking orange juice which has no sugar and only 15 calories. I'm drinking 2 litter of water a day and i'm doing 2 hours of exercise each day. Also, there's a channel called FitTV. It's basically a 24-hour exercise channel. I've recorded two programms that help me do a lot of exercise and i've added them to my routines. Now i'm doing 50 push-ups 36 sit-ups 20 squads 20 jumping jacks On monday i'll add 10 more to each and add another routine. So far some people have told me i look thinner but lets see if that'll reflect on the scale. Keep those tips coming because thanks to all of you i've tried things differently and applied a lot of your feedback! P.S. Dave, i owe you what? I'll have my lawyer come up with a settlement, ok? And Kev...wow...i'm far far away from doing your routine. lol |
