The Natural Playboy Posts: 3,793 Group: Admin Member #2 Joined: June 21, 2003	For more content on the forum, I'll attempt to keep this (and possibly other similar threads) going weekly with old school cartoons. Enjoy the first episode of The Legend of Zelda featured on The Super Mario Bros. Super Show (shown specially on Friday mornings). This series is 13 episodes. So enjoy the next few months of having this presented courtesy of youtube. C_Beyond ((chunsa oppa)) Posts: 10,993 Group: Admin Member #8 Joined: June 22, 2003	cool idea, arnell ~_^b thanks for posting this! i never really saw the super mario bros. show when it actually aired, i guess it aired in the 90s? i've seen 2 or so episodes online and wanna get the dvd. Link sounds so weird lol...but the music is timeless, takes me back to when i got my first Nintendo entertainment system, with the zelda game. slightly off-topic but....dunno if anyone watches it, but theres a show on Spike channel called GameHead or something like that (www.gametrailers.com), and they did a tribute episode to Miyamoto, the creator of Mario and Zelda. pretty interesting...

Advanced Member Posts: 324 Group: Member Member #413 Joined: October 1, 2003	hey do you remember the cereal that was half legend of zelda and half super mario bros.? it played during the super mario bros show. sings the jingle nintendo, it's a breakfast now. nintendo, it's a cereal wow! yes I remember the jingle and that is from memory. I still have some of my old 80's cartoons on tape. also some of the old 80's commercial too. oh!!! everyone!! I have a link if you want to see old 80's commercials. I haven't seen any recent ones added but go here http://x-entertainment.com/downloads/ brings back memories. enjoy everyone :).

I mean the cereal. I don't think I was old enough for solid foods yet. born in the year 1980. ahhh memories of the 80's sooo many cartoons!!!!

I'm seeing why it only lasted 13 episodes. you should post the other Zelda series as well. ^_^ I want to see them as well.

The Natural Playboy Posts: 3,793 Group: Admin Member #2 Joined: June 21, 2003	I've heard of a Zelda anime series, but I haven't seen anything from it. The worst of the Zelda series was actually a game. The Legend of Zelda: Wand of Gamelon It was on those huge laser discs...and it was disasterous.

C_Beyond ((chunsa oppa)) Posts: 10,993 Group: Admin Member #8 Joined: June 22, 2003	wow....laser discs...i always wanted one of those... i was thinking, zelda could be made by the same people who make Justice League...or Fantastic Four...if its not gonna be anime series...basically, it shouldnt just cater to kids, it could be filled with great dramatic storylines... i saw a sneak-peek shot of the new transformers cartoon coming out next year...its looks TERRIBLE...its the same type of animation as STAR WARS: CLONE WARS...that animation sucked...but the storyline and action more than made up for it with that series...which were great. (theres a new clone wars coming soon too...CG) any video games, past or present, you'd like to see as a cartoon?

Looking around youtube, couldn't actually find all 13 episodes. Some were reposted and titled wrong a few times. Not only that, some episodes weren't in there entirety and not in great quality.
