So yeah...Today was my last final in which I had to present my video project, which is posted in the Coffee Lounge. I presented and everyone hated it.. No one could tell that it was a building that I was using to move from scene to scene.... I mean how censored ing hard is it to see that it's a censored ing building!!!!!!!???? So yeah thats basically what everyone said, and usually you get the sandwich techinque which is something good then something bad then something good again..but no...nothing good..thats all they said was what was bad about it. Now why am I so pissed about this? I'll tell you why because some B***h just took censored ing pictures off of google and printed them out. I mean, wtf? No one said anything about that. and then one guy just took war pictures and painted over them like any kindergardener would do. Another guy just took pictures of himself just because he had a mustache.. So wtf? I censored ing spent hours, even days! working on this project and everyone just attacks me!? After all this to top it off another guy had a video... all he did was take five pictures of his kitchen curtains and play it over and over for 5 minutes...why becayse someone said it would be funny last project to see how long people will watch something, so he did that. After his censored ing video everyone clapped, what did they do for mine. nothing. So why is it when I try so hard, the people that do S**t are the ones that are always rewarded. Well censored You UNR and censored What you concider art!!! I'll show you one day you cheap b&*tards and I'll rub it in your face!!! I just feel really depressed now, and my self esteem feels like it has dropped...oh and another thing, I was gonna go see 28 weeks later after this class with my gf and brother, but my gf decided to go to the gym with her ex bf/gf or whatever the f**k they are! So no movie, now I'm just sitting at home alone, typing this... |

yeah..idk they're still friend I guess... The wierd thing is her ex bf is a girl but is a transgender so he is a guy. So I didn't find out they dated till a year into my relationshipowith my gf. But yeah the whole time we were all friend and a lot of bad things have happened because of it... what I don't get is why she gets mad at me for being upset that she calls her ex bf/gf more than me... I don't mind hearing about your bad days, maybe we can compare and find out that we are in the same sistuations hehe.. it's always better to go through something bad with others then alone. |

Dude, your class mates must be stupid/retarded if they didn't get the whole building thing. It's like an apartment building in you're going into different apartments because everyone has a story to tell or something. Sorry to hear that they didn't understand. Actually, what the heck is there to be sorry about? Honestly, if you didn't get that then.....I don't know what to say man. Get help? I hate going over that whole self-confidence thing with you. It piss me off that you think so little of yourself, D-Man. Maybe you should tell her how you feel? I'm sure she'll understand. Smile, D-Man. I told you that it may just be your best feature. :) |

Yeah sorry Mal, I just get upset when I work hard on something and then I'm proud to show it and then no one likes it (talking about my classmates/class work, not what I show friends and Family). Also the teacher is the one that started saying this and all the douche bags in the class as always where giving the "Damn right!" attitude. Instead my brother and I are right a script about a Mixed Media class, it's gonna be a comedy about one guy that every hates for no reason and they are all gonna have S**tty projects, kinda like the twilight zone.

Yeah...my gf's ex bf is a girl but in her/his head he knows he's a boy, so really my gf was dating a girl and this is why I had no idea that they were dating when I hung out with both of them...so then a big thing happened with my gf's ex gf/bf and then we got together and a year later my gf told me, after she told everyone else like my brother, best friend, so that was a little upsetting as well..and npw they are "friends" even though my gf's ex bf/gf calls like everyday. Oh well enough of that haha, I get enough of that everyday. :(

wow...sorry to hear about that, david, you have every right in the world to be upset at how your work was dissed like that. you're teacher sounds very immature. i hope you at least told him how you felt personally, at some point. my art type of classes in school were encouraging to all of the artists...which meant there were no bad OR good artistic interpretations, just different opinions of each. to be criticized, openly AND unconstructively, is just wrong. |
