Yeah. So. I don't normally play the lottery. But the jackpot was at 72 million last night. A friend of mine pulled 9 of us together (including me) to buying a bunch and splitting the money. We each put in $20. So last night they announce the numbers. No one had the winning number at all in Texas. So 2 friends and I go through all the tickets to see if we got any numbers at all. So... 180 tickets and $180 later... We won... $12. Yeah. Now the jackpot is at $75 million for this Saturday. If everyone's still in we're getting another 180 tickets plus 12 more. Stupid lottery... |

I don't think it's worth winning. Everyone that has has been sued. So make sure if you win you never go out and you never come in contact with anyone. Plus money doesn't buy happiness. But good luck if you keep trying! :) |

personally I like scratchers. I have won like 200 bucks and that was in a one week period. also I got the things at the same grocery store, so if I feel like going over to this particular grocery store, which my family and I call it the "lucky safeway". the majority of the winnings are from that one and that one isn't even close to my house. I have a safeway up the street from my house but that one doesn't have winning scratchers. only won twice there compared to the *lucky safeway* which that was more than 10 times I won there. for anyone that plays scratchers, only play the $2 or $3 ones, because those are good ones to have a chance of winning. I got one $2 one and I won $120 on that one. enough of my babbling, enjoy playing the lotto or whatever is your thing :). |

I like scratchers. My dad used to let me scratch those off when I was a kid. I suggested we buy scratchers with the $12 we won, but they want to use it for the next drawing, which I'm fine with. Better than each of us walking away with our $1.50. I never win these things either, but it was kind of fun. I'm just hoping someone wins so that way either we won the jackpot or someone else won and I would stop pooling money with others in hopes to win. |
