as some of you may have noticed, i've put up a few different banners recently...just got the urge to do something creative
^_^ i know some of you are very talented when it comes to graphics, so i'd like to see what you can come up with for an AMR Banner. i'm by no means talented at all when it comes to graphics lol. i know someone is making some already, and i'm gonna put hers up real soon ~_^b and if you've made a banner in the past, show it off again and it'll be up there again. this isn't a contest, its simply a showcase for our talents :matt: i'll be changing the banner regularly so as to exhibit your artwork ^_^ also, let us know what you think of them! no harsh criticisms, just constructive ones please. i think the average size for a banner is 800 pixels width and about 300 heigth, but you can change it up if u want. here are some of my banners that i've made: Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image (not actually a banner, but funny to look at, yeah, thats david) :laugh: (and yes, this is reeeeally old lol) if u wanna make a banner, but not have it posted up at the top there, just let me know...i'm lookin forward to seein ur stuff! :phrank: |

lol, everytime you do anything about art you always put up that last one of me haha..I'll make some basic ones like my one at lfproductions.com it will be a fast load and not take up much space... Check back soon.
:) -Edit- Ok I made some... I noticed the Background color for the banners is a light grey and when a page is expanded it looks bad. So what I did was take that same color so no matter how wide the page gets it will look ok. These are both very simple and small in size so the page will load fast. 001 (7.75KB) Posted Image 002 (5.52KB) Posted Image -edit 2- I also just made a little more complex one.. I tested the last one I did and it seems to match colors to me. What about you? I also made it so instead of going to Photobucket.com when you click the banner it just goes the the index of the forums. One other thing is I moved "Red Alert created by SyringeX of the IF Skin Zone" from the top of the forums to the bottom. It looks better that way. ^_^ -edit again- Wow I just keep finding things to fix haha.. the bg color of the forums was FFFFFF (White) so I changed it to match the Table BG's which is f0f0f0 so now it flows well.. :) |

lol...so many changes huh ur banner looks lil bro...cool font ^_^ as for the one i had on before, the fooly cooly one, i really liked how that one turned out, the colors are very sunset-ish...makes me think i can do more even better lol ...i still need to learn how to download and use brushes in photoshop tho. whats a good average size for a banner? the alicenine banner was a request from jess, and the shinhwa ones i made for jiyoung...simple, but they did the job i think the last girl in ur banner is boa...who are the first two groups? i wanna see more banners! ~_^b EDIT: here's another reeeeally old one i made ages ago: Posted Image and 2 older ones that david made in the past: Posted Image Posted Image |

Hmm I'll make a tutorial for D/L and using Brushes for you after I finish my English paper haha.. In that banner I'm not really sure about the three middle girls.. I wanted more than just kpop so I used google and typed Jpop and they came up... and as for the guys they are a few members of SG Wannabe. I'll make some other banners soon... For me a good banner with images for this forum would be 800x225. that's usually what I use.. If it's just text maybe 800x100 or 800x125 You should try making a banner with the BG color f0f0f0 that's our sites and then it will work with expanding pages like the one up now. :) P.S. Cool banners hehe :cool: -------------EDIT------------------- Ohh and I really like the FLCL banner with a coffee stain look., :) |

yay! i KNEW mal was gonna make some! lol those are really nice, lady! i like the artsi-ness in the 2nd one...thats wut i was goin for too with the flcl one. those'll be up soon! man, at this rate, we're gonna have different banners every other day
^_^ i've seen some jiyoung made, they're really cool too!
:D as for skins, that can be changed too, to accomodate the banner if so desired...but i should say, dont worry about the skin colors when making a banner ~_^b and yeah...that "david powers" one always got a smile out of people, thanks lil bro for being open-minded about lettin me use ur face like that :jay: edit: the reeeeally old ones i made like 4 years ago using just ms-paint program, u can tell how nasty the pasted images look lol ...and yeah, our former forum MVH just disappeared on us, so i try from time to time to save some stuff from here, just in case bunny2000 |

Hey Mal, for the second one if you take that into Photoshop and make a bottom layer of f0f0f0 then on the top layer use the Overlays to find one that changes the bg to that color of the bottom one it will work perfectly with the skin. |

the group in the first one is called 'Wonder Girls'... o_O something like that... i've never heard of them though. as for the font in the second one, its not that i like it... i just couldn't find a font that i liked better >_> i can always change it :3 |

I guess I have to ask. Are we sticking with the name "Asian Music Realm?" We have VERY LITTLE going on this forum about Asian Music anymore. All the banners are nice though. I do like the second one Jiyoung made a lot because I know who is holding the phone. |

I remember when it was KMR. I think I am the only one that hypothetically grew up with Korean Music Realm rather than Asian Music Realm.
