Let's face it, it's been quite a long time since Revolution stopped being on our minds every friday night...but there's a new hope and is called "The Bridge". I was actually caught by surprise when i accidently tuned in to AZN and i saw a cute Korean girl talking about dancing...so i kept watching and they aired BoA's music video..."Motto"... I was like "WHAT! WOW! This is awesome!". It turns out is a new show that is not so much focused on videos but the overrall Asian culture as well. The show premiered in December and so far is it's second airing, i didn't catch the first episode. The 2nd episode was all about break-dancing and let me say it featured some of the illest b-boys i've ever seen! PLUS! They aired DBSK's "Rising Sun", BoA's "Girls On Top" among other new music videos! It airs before Revolution every friday night! DON'T MISS IT! Here's the link! The Bridge's website on AZN TV |

Hmmm. First, THANK YOU Edwin! I went to their site, and got landed on with a car ad. (SOBs). "Heavy Rotation" is an odd thing to call what they're doing. I wish I had read this before last night. I will keep an eye out, for it next Friday! Thanks, again! //Seoul |

Yay! Finally an up-to-date asian music show! This past Friday's had a few videos from Rain (Bi) including the first extended intro of It's Raining, and also some local hip hop artists or graffiti/drawing. It isn't a Korean music video until someone gets tragically hurt. They did play one video from Noel that did just that. hehe Heavy Rotation is just the entire block on Friday night where they play Revolution and The Bridge, which took over What's Up Thailand on the 11pm PST slot..yay! |

Yeah. I watched some of it. Ummm. Did Sony-Music-Japan buy AZN?? Please forgive me, but that show would have a really hard time sucking worse than it did. If you put "the Bulge" against "B-n-T",(sorry sorry, engineering term, meaning "Bars and Tone") The latter would win hands down. And what was that idiot group? The "East-West-Revolutionary-Geeks" or something like that. They went on-and-on-and-on telling us how hard it was go get into the music industry. (Yeah, well without talent, ummm, it is pretty hard...) and THEN we had the unbelieveable honor of watching one of their videos. My friends, "Tune out factor:" = 100% Waxing your dog is far more important. //Seoul |

That's the nicest thing you've ever said to me. I didn't hang around very long. I was watching tapes of Revo, and KMC from a while back. What is the ratio of KPOP to JPOP, do you think? //Seoul |

I agree totally, Vic, but just on this episode. You see, they seem to pick a different topic for each show showcasing the Asian culture in different ways which is cool. But, of course the topics are not always gonna be interesting. For example, i caught the one about break-dancing and i enjoyed it cause i love that but this week...even their video choices were stupid...except for Bi's "I Do" (Yes, you're hearing correctly, Kev lol). I love that song, wish they would've shown in it's entirety to see Bi pull off his awesome dance moves at the end, though. |

OK. I'll give it another chance. Thanks Edwin. I really like the "I Do" video, as well. (He did that live, at the Hollywood Bowl, last April) But that geeky group got in there spewing, and it was like, ewwwww. But I will try them once more. (Oddly enough, I was actually watching a tape of an Eddie, and Nam KMC, and found it BETTER than the Bulge) I wish AZN would make nice with Zoomad... //Seoul |

So, is it possible that an episode with SooJin at a restaurant could be more pleasing than the last episode of The Bridge? |

I found about half of The Bridge interesting. It ain't KMC or Revolution but it's better than What's Up Thailand, and we do get to see Kpop and Jpop again. |

Well this is rather disappointing. They've shown Far East Movement and the graffiti artist episodes over and over. So much for fresh Asian music videos. |
