Movies that made you cry, touched your heart, inspired you, motivated you, or stayed with you no matter the time passed. Can you remember those movies? If you can, it means that movie truly is a part of you. So, lets begin! Here's my list: - A Knight's Tale - Shall We Dace (remake) - Spanglish - Men of Honor - Remember The Titans - Secondhand Lions - Beyond The Sea - A Walk To Remember - K-Pax - Coach Carter - Never Been Kissed - 50 First Dates - The Count of Monte Cristo - The Time Machine (remake) - Mean Girls - The Girl Next Door - What Dreams May Come - Good Will Hunting - Patch Adams - Awekenings - Antwone Fisher - The Emperor's Club - Big Fish - The Forgotten - The Ring - Finding Neverland - Dogma - Dead Poets Society (thanks Vic!) - Runaway Jury - The Jacket - Valentin That's it for now. So, what's on your list? |

 I have yet to see an "Old Yeller" or a "English Patient" kind of movie that would make me cry over and over. The closest for my wifey would be "An Affair to Remember". anyways:  Return of the Jedi - obvious scene the first time around. The Lion King - dramatic music i guess  Pretty Woman - because I like that Roxette song. About Schmidt - where he tears up at the end. monkey see monkey do i tell ya motivating movies: :woohoo: Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure - losers turn into winners with an awesome effort. :woohoo: UHF - Weird Al turns around a TV station thanks to Michael Richards. :woohoo: Stand and Deliver - not like I needed motivation in math, but watching students turn around and excel despite the odds is pretty sweet. And when Lou Diamond Phillips says "what's cal-Coo-lus"? :woohoo: Enter the Dragon - nothing beats a serious martial-arts butt kicking by the best I also wanted to say Dead Poets Society but have only seen it once and can't remember how much I was moved by the "I am Spartacus" move near the end. Or how Mona Lisa Smile tried to tap into the same feelings. Then there are the vaguely inspiring dance comeback movies like Napoleon Dynamite, Flashdance, Shall We Dance, Lee Hyori's Anymotion. Then there are the sports comeback movies like The Waterboy, Field of Dreams, or Bend It like Beckham. But not Miracle; that practically put me to sleep. |

Hmmmm, Excellent thread, Edwin! For me, I guess the most significant films were (of course) Dead Poets Society (About guys coming of age) "The Classic" (wonderful romance) I liked "Remember the Titans" and was in college with Wierd Al ("UHF") )Trivia note, he recorded his first song, "My Bologna" across the hall from out college radio station KCPR, in the Men's restroom!! And or course "Old Yeller". I haven't seen that in about a thousand years... Oh and one more thing, "Scotty" ("It's the dilithium crystals, Jim...") died yesterday. //Seoul |

the movie of Kim Rae won, The Most Beautiful Day in My Life because this made me cry. I felt sad of the story because the actress died in the movie due to cancer. |
