Posted Image Rain Stands Top on Taiwanese Music Chart 2005-07-11 Korean pop star Rain is ranked on the top place of an influential music chart proving his popularity among Asian fans. Taiwan’s biggest record distributor G-Music found the total of album sales from July 1st to 7th and Rain’s 3rd album “It's Raining” was ranked on top of the “Weekly Top 20 Chart” of the Asian pop music category. The chart of the Asian category shows the rankings of Asian albums excluding Taiwanese and Chinese-speaking singers. The most singers that are ranked on the chart are from Japan. Rain seized the top place of the chart beating top Japanese bands like Larc en Ciel, Winds and Miyabi. Rain’s 2nd album “How to Avoid the Sun” was also ranked on the 11th place making him the only musician who had two of his albums included in the chart. //Seoul |
